Very impressed. The quality is excellent. A lot of thought was put into the design. The legs have clips so they stay closed or open. Easy to close and store away. The legs slightly flare out so it feels incredibly sturdy. The handle does not stay in closed position so be careful about that. It wiggles a bit when fully open but I still felt safe getting up and down. The stool came with a screwdriver for the two screws that line up to two holes in handle. This was the only challenging part. I recommend first screwing into the handle so as to stretch the hole a bit. Remove screw, place handle and then screw in. Much easier. In closed position, very compact. Solid construction. A tad heavy but expected given the quality.

I bought this for a camper that we purchased. I am recovering from being hit by a car (broke my tibia!), so I needed a bit more stability climbing in and out of our teardrop trailer. This does the trick well. The first few times that you open/fold it, expect resistance, but it gets much easier to open up the legs with use. It is solid, well built, and quite stable. The design is well thought out (even the buttons for releasing the legs are done well). It only takes a minute or so to deploy the legs and lock the handle in place. Folded up, it is small enough to tuck into small gaps (side of a refrigerator, in a storage box, or in our case, alongside our cooler in the galley kitchen.) The handle is what sold me on it. No more fishing around with a leg sticking out to find your step stool--just reach out and grab the thing! My only suggestion? I would love to see a higher height version of this. Six and half inches is great for granny but I would prefer a step stool height of at least 8 inches and preferably 9 inches.

I am a school bus driver and I bought this to help make it easier to get into my bus. I am extremely short (4ft 10in) and the first step up into my bus comes to my knee. I bought this because it had a handle and was collapsible. It is the perfect extra step up to make it easier to get into my bus and because it has a handle, I can easily pull it up into the bus once I'm up the steps and it collapses quick and easily which makes it perfect to store behind the driver's seat so that it is out of the way and in a secured place. The only thing that I wish was that when it is folded up, there was some way to lock the handle in place so that it stays folded up flat for storage. I have solved this issue by using a short bungee cord to wrap around the step and handle when I fold it up flat.
