Perfect Mini Ice Cubes
This is the best mini ice tray I've purchased to date and it exceeded my expectations! My previous ice tray made the same cubes but in a flat tray and it was a painstaking process to free each individual cube. This system is easy to fill and even easier to free the cubes. It freezes fast because the cubes are so small and it feels really durable despite daily use. Each cylinder provides a generous amount of ice cubes for a large drink. My only complaint is it does leave a mysterious white film in my drinks that I can't seem to wash or rinse off the trays but it doesn't change the flavor of my drinks. It takes up much less space in the freezer too.

Interesting Design, Durable, and Convenient Size
Amazon purchase and delivery was easy. Instruction on use of the product was provided, but not necessary as the design is not only innovative, but intuitive. The Fill line is a bit hard to see, so its easy to overfill. You fill what looks like a whit rubber can coozie, the "ice tray" with water to the fill line, then insert what looks like a plastic cup holder into the coozie which pushes the water up the inside of the ice tray. Watch out for overflow, it can make a mess...best to insert the cup holder into the ice tray over the sink. Convenient placement in a freezer, especially if you don't have a lot of surface space, which is required for traditional ice trays. Freezing takes a few hours. When removing ice, you need to massage the ice tray, then try twisting out the cup holder like insert. Once the insert is out, it takes a bit of massaging the ice tray to get all the small cubes out. I find that working from the top down is the best technique. About half way down, pour out cubes, then work the other half of the ice tray. My daughter loves the tiny cubes "they're so cute". The cubes help cool a drink fast, but they do dissolve fast, so anything you are drinking will dilute, which is perfect for strong cocktails or water based drinks. Cubes are also perfect for packing objects in coolers...good surface area coverage.

Good for crushed ice at home
Very straight forward and easy to use ice cylinders for crushed ice. They worked well and the ice was the perfect size. !BE AWARE! - There was some kind of residue on the ice during the first handful of initial uses even after being washed multiple times so be aware of that. The residue did go away and we haven't had issues since but keep an eye out for that.

To have ice cubes
If you like little tiny square ice cubes this is for you. The insert (that grey part) has to be pulled out in order for you to add water to the white part. It’s a struggle to remove the insert. Once you remove the insert you wash the entire item, you can let it air dry or you can dry it with whatever cloth you choose. There is a waterline on the white cup. I filled it to the water line then pushed the grey insert back into the cup. Obviously the waterline is a little off. The water comes out as you push in the insert like a little overflow. It freezes the insert to the cup Making it super hard to remove even though you run it under warm water to release it. It’s still a struggle. Once you get the inserts out you squeeze the soft cup a bunch of times and it releases little bitty square ice cubes that’s pretty cool. Therefore… I did not fill it up to the line I filled it, maybe an eighth of an inch below the line so when I press the insert back in the water didn’t overflow, so it shouldn’t be really hard to remove the insert next time. The ice cubes lasted longer than most do and it’s like having crushed ice, which I do like.

Strange smell & taste
I really wanted to love this mini ice cube maker because, at first glance, it checks all the right boxes. It’s compact, lightweight, and incredibly easy to use. You just fill with water to the fill line, insert the "cover", and within a few hours you have ice. Unfortunately, the biggest issue is something I just can’t overlook: the ice smells and tastes bad. Like REALLY BAD. To be honest, I thought I was crazy and imagining this until I came back and read other reviews stating the same thing. In fact, I'm now so concerned that I'm not going to use them again. From the very first batch, there was a noticeable plastic or chemical odor. I thoroughly washed it and washed it and even tried using different water, to no avail. Despite all that, the smell persisted. The ice gives drinks a strange aftertaste that completely ruins water, soda, whatever you're drinking. It’s subtle at first, but once you notice it, you can’t ignore it. What’s frustrating is that it really does work exactly as advertised. It produces ice quickly and consistently, and the small cube size is nice. But none of that matters if the ice negatively affects the flavor of your drink. (And quite possibly your health) In short, this ice cube maker is incredibly user-friendly and efficient, but the unpleasant smell and taste make it impossible to recommend. I’d suggest looking for an alternative.

Good Idea, Middling Execution
This works as a cylindrical silicon mold. You fill it with water and then push the center piece down into it. This forces the water up into each little ice cube cubby in the mold. Throw in the freezer for a few hours, bingo bingo, you've got mini ice. The issue is that the middle piece doesn't lock down, really. So you're left with a situation where oftentimes the water will pool at the bottom after you've set it in the freezer, and you won't know until you pull it out and end up with a nice big block of ice at the bottom of the mold. If you want to try it, it's not awful. But you need to make sure you set this on a flat shelf in your freezer to freeze, AND push down on the top firmly after you set it in there to make sure all the water pushes up into the cube molds completely. If you've got room for just a normal ice cube tray, you're probably better off using that.

Great product! Love it!
Love! Exactly what I was looking for! Easy to use and much less expensive than those countertop ice makers that take up a ton of counter space. Will be buying more to put in my motor home this summer. And my dog absolutely loves the little ice cubes too, she thinks it’s a special treat!

This is an amazing product and works as advertised. I am buying another set to replace my small ice-cube (1cm) trays. This makes small ice cubes, which are perfect if you are an ice-eater (like me), and enough for 1 drink if you like a lot of ice in it (like me). For regular folks, one of these makes enough ice for 2 drinks. You can de-ice it right into itself or a glass so there isn’t need for another container, and refill is quick and easy so you can do it right away. These do fit into my freezer door so they are easy to grab and don’t take up room inside. Tips: 1. When re-filling it, put it on a flat surface and press the top down until all the extra water is removed from the two holes on the top. (Watch out for the fountain!) This will also create suction keeping the water inside in place. 2. When de-icing, fill the center with hot water to detach it from the ice. This makes it easy to slide it out. 3. You do need to run it under hot water or let it sit to de-ice easily. 4. You do need to make sure the bottom is flat when freezing and the lid is secure in place. Otherwise it will sag and make flat ice at the bottom.

When I first bought these two ice makers — the type where you fill the sides with water and put the lid on top — I was a little sceptical about how well they’d perform. But after using them for about two weeks, I can honestly say I love them. They do exactly what they’re meant to do. You do need to give them a bit of a tap or twist to release the ice, and removing the plastic centre helps, but once the ice comes out it’s crunchy, solid, and in neat little square pieces. The ice lasts all day when used in an insulated cup. I use one tray at a time and keep the other as a backup, though I rarely even need it. My iced coffee stays cold and refreshing for hours.

Love this ice cube maker. Very simple to use and fits in the freezer door. Does not require a lot of water to make a bunch of small ice cubes and last a pretty long time if the drink was already cold in the fridge and using a double walled cup. Had no issues removing the ice as long as you follow the instructions and as others have mentioned, I did not have an ice puck at the bottom of the container when extracting the ice. Those people most likely over filled the container even though there’s a fill line on the container or did not fully seat the plastic insert because if they did, water that doesn’t fit would’ve came out of the two over flow holes. Also I had no issues with water spilling as I have to angle the container 45 degrees to fit the freezer door.
