An honest review!First off I'd have to say the company is top rate. I was sent these sheets in terrible packaging and when I let them know that I had to destroy the box just to get the sheets out they apologized and gave me a full discount and let me keep the sheets.I washed these sheets more than a dozen times in cold water with baking soda and vinegar to soften them up and make sure they were well cleaned and free of chemicals that cause sheet sets to feel stiff. More than a dozen times is extreme but I really wanted to get the softness you would expect from 1000 thread count sheets. These sheets are thick and feel like they would last a lifetime. I did iron them before placing them on the bed to get the heavy wrinkles out and noticed that made them feel much softer.The fitted sheet fits well. The top sheet was too short for my liking. I like my sheets to fit all the way to the top of the bed. They are only 102x108 and with deep mattresses, you need 108x120 for a comfortable fit. I wish I had realized that when I got them but I'm not complaining about free sheets. I have not slept on them yet so I have no opinion about how they for sleeping but I did climb into the bed and they felt like high-quality hotel sheets.I will give these a 6-star rating to the company for the 100% refund after the problem with packaging. They were prompt to respond. I will forgive the packaging. (the company assure they were getting new packaging).I would say a 6-star rating for the durability.I would give a 6-star rating on the weight of the material. These are very thick and heavy for sheets as is typical for such a high thread count.

These sheets are super thin and not comfortable Sheets are not up to ecpectations for the price

I have been using these sheets for just over one year. We use them every day and wash them on Sundays. That means they have had over 50 washing and still no piling or balls!! I use bleach on them as well and they still feel like new.Pros: excellent quality, stay smooth, cool feel against your skin, fit on my deep mattress with topper perfectly. I also like that the pillow cases fold over so you don’t see the pillow inside- that’s a nice touch!Cons: because they are so thick and heavy they take quite a while to dry and have a tendency to ball up in the dryer. They wash best if you wash the top sheet and bottom sheet separate from each other and with other items like towels, etc.I purchased in white but they are getting a little dingy so I would like to find them in another color.Overall, I am very happy with these sheets. It is hard to find quality items that are durable in these throw-away times.

Sheets are very wimpy and crumple up. Impossible to get wrinkles out. I prefer a stiffer, more cottony sheet.

So, I've waited 3 years to post this review on these Egyptian Cotton sheets. 1000 thread count with a sateen weave. Love my sheets, but, the pillow cases and top sheet began to wear out after 3 years of use. Washed every two weeks, with Tide, Oxy Clean, and fragrance crystals,, I did not expect the fabric to wear so quickly. However, they feel so good after a few washes I bought the same set again.I give these sheets a 4 star rating because I think the wear and tearing of the pillow cases and top sheet border should not have happened in only 3 years, but, the comfort and "Ritz-Carlton" luxury of the sheets compeled me to purchase the same set again.So soft, but, so fragile is my opinion of the CE Casa ESENCIA 1000 thread count, 100% Egyptian Cotton Sheets.
