I recently bought this countertop range hood, and after using it for a while, I'm very satisfied with it overall. First, the appearance is really nice; it has a strong design sense and is completely different from traditional, bulky range hoods. It looks more like an air purifier, making it perfect for those who prefer a clean and minimalist kitchen. The machine is compact and lightweight, making it easy to move around. There's no need for drilling or installation; just plug it in and it's ready to use. I mainly cook soups, steam food, and do simple stir-fries, and the suction power of this machine is sufficient for my needs. As long as I position it near the edge of the pot, the steam and light oil fumes are noticeably sucked in, and the kitchen doesn't easily retain odors. The noise level is normal during use, not very loud, although there's a slight wind sound at the highest setting, which is acceptable. I also really like the filter design; it's very easy to remove and clean, and there's no need to buy special consumables. The outer casing material is also good and doesn't look cheap. What I'm most satisfied with is that it doesn't take up much space; it doesn't feel crowded on the countertop, and I can easily move it to a corner after use. Of course, it's not a traditional range hood with super strong suction power. If you frequently stir-fry, fry fish, or cook with a lot of oil, this might not be enough. But if you cook with light oil like I do, this machine is very practical, and the overall value for money is excellent.

There is sufficient power in the fan to adequately control mild smoke and steam, particularly when the fan is set to its maximum level. After using this product when preparing foods that often filled my apartment with strong fragrances, such as frying fish or creating a hot pot, I noticed a considerable decrease in the lingering odors that were present after the dish was finished being prepared. I am able to simply modify the airflow to suit the food that I am preparing, and the many speed settings give me adaptability. I find that the lower settings are rather quiet, which is ideal for regular cooking when I do not need the highest amount of power. There is a tendency for the noise levels in a small place to become overbearing very fast, which is why I believe that this function is very significant. Additionally, the inclusion of the huge oil collecting cup is a kind touch. It is my opinion that it makes cleaning up a lot simpler since it efficiently gathers any grease particles, hence reducing the amount of buildup that occurs on the fan itself. I have used the range hood for frying, and it seems to perform a decent job of containing the majority of the oil, which contributes to the general cleanliness of the kitchen. In addition to being simple to remove and clean, the aluminum filter that can be detached is also quite handy. My impression is that it makes the maintenance process easy and uncomplicated, particularly considering that it can be cleaned in the dishwasher.

We have a gas stove, and we have used this a few times. I gave this a 4 star because there is a black mesh screen that you can take out and clean, however it became disfigured from the heat the third time we used this product. We may have put it too close to the burner. We could not get it flattened back to the original shape, so we took it out and just use the built-in filter and an additional disposable white filter that come with it. (You can order additional white filters when needed). It is powerful and does pull the smoke and steam from the cooking area. We also use the exhaust fan above the stove. This was bought to help with the excess smoke sometimes created when cooking. I would recommend this product but would also say...don't put it too close to the cooking area.

I really appreciate how easy this is to use and the powerful suction. I am using this portable range hood in my home kitchen and it has served as an excellent substitute for my over-the-oven range hood that currently broken. The instructions for use are clear and easy to follow. I am impressed by its' size and how well it actually pulls steam and grease. It works great and has been a huge asset to serve us until our kitchen is remodeled. We will keep this around to use in a camp house and will take camping. Absolutely love it!

Compact and easy to use. It helps reduce smoke and odors better than expected for a portable hood, and the noise level is reasonable.

Well, as soon as I opened the box I could tell it had been previously used!! Upon inspection, I think an attempt was made to clean it up. The filter in it has obviously been used. Maybe some bacon frying. I recleaned everything and got clean filter and gave it a try. It is loud on high setting which is what you need when frying. It doesn't pull the greatest, but it does pull in some of the steam and grease from cooking. I've used it 3 times now. It's very easy to clean. Used it on frying chicken tenders and bacon. The cup they say catches the oil so you can dump it out, has NEVER had anything collect in it. With all this, I'm keeping the unit as something is better than nothing. My overhead invented hood does very little to filter the cooking air. So, this does help. It's much larger than I expected it to be. But sits well on stove top. I store it in cabinet above stove and have to tilt it slightly as it's taller than the shelf height. It's very easy to pull out and plug in. And like I said, it's simple to clean up. I also was able to wash out the filter that comes with them. I believe it comes with 3. They say to use 1 x and discard. But, nice been washing and they dry and reuse great

This is not a good product. I didn’t feel it helped at all with odosrs. Used it near my stove top and it literally melted. If it can’t be used like that I feel it does not help. I bought it to help just that! Removing odors while cooking

I wasn’t sure what to expect with a portable range hood, but this little unit has far exceeded my expectations. I do a lot of pan frying and stir-frying in a small kitchen, and the smoke and oil splatter used to be a huge problem. Since using this, I’ve noticed a huge difference in air quality. The fan pulls the smoke directly off the stove and the large oil collection cup actually does its job—I was shocked at how much grease it caught after just a couple of uses. The three speed settings are perfect. On low it’s quiet enough that I can cook and still hold a conversation, but when I need more power (like when searing meat) I just bump it up to high and it clears the air quickly. I also appreciate that the noise never becomes overwhelming, even at the highest setting. Cleaning is easy, too. The detachable aluminum filter comes out without hassle and rinses clean under hot water, and the collection cup is sturdy and simple to wash. Unlike a lot of kitchen gadgets, this one doesn’t feel flimsy—it’s solid, well-built, and designed with real use in mind. I also love how portable it is. I can move it around depending on which counter I’m using, or even take it outside when I’m cooking on a portable burner. For anyone in an apartment, dorm, or small kitchen where installing a full range hood isn’t possible, this is a lifesaver. Overall, this portable range hood has made cooking so much more pleasant—no more lingering smells, less smoke, and my kitchen stays cleaner. Honestly, I don’t know why I didn’t get one sooner. Highly recommend!

Indispensable pour les logement ne pouvant pas installer une hote aspirante. Le produit est vraiment compact et très puissant. Il est devenu un incontournable lorsque je prépare a manger. Il suffit de le brancher et de l'allumer. L'aspiration est vraiment puissante et permet d'aspirer toutes les fumées et graisses de cuissons. Un réservoir permet de recueillir les graisses facilement. Il est très facile à nettoyer à l'eau chaude. Super produit que je recommande.

This works well in minimizing the smell and smoke in my store. Its quiet enough and the suction is very strong. I just wish the company would sell the replacement filter (unless I just didnt see it)

When cooking certain things like bacon, the tradtional hood over my stove doesn't do a very good job collecting everything. So I use this to filter more of the air around it. I honestly didn't expect it to do very much, so when I first got it, I pulled out my mini smoker gun and blew smoke around it. It's amazing how it sucks all of the smoke out of the gun and what came out the other side was clear. it didn't fully eliminate the smell, but it did eliminate most of it.
