FABULOUS!! I was looking for a portable blacklight to use when out and about looking for uranium glass in the wild. This does not disappoint!! Very bright! Works even in daylight situations, which as anyone perusing yard sales, thrift shops, flea markets & even the odd antique store are more often than not saturated with light. This is portable, feels solid in my hand and what a great price! Love that it is easily chargable. So pleased with this flashlight, and I'm sure if I wanted to use it for scorpion hunting it would work for that as well. Buy one you'll be happy too!!!

Cures my UV epoxy nice and quick, and I can adjust the beam size if I need a larger area covered. Mind you, the larger the beam, the less intensity it has, thus the curing time will be proportionally longer. WITH THAT SAID, the ONLY negative I see here, is that you will get to a focal distance where you'll see the LED array projected, meaning the light isn't being defused enough and is concentrated on that spot and outside of it, you're not getting much curing done. For me, it seemed to be around half-extension point. But outside of that small window, this is great. It's so great, I bought my friend one, who was using a dinky button cell push UV light for his field work in Exotics Veterinary. He uses UV resin/glues for shell and beak repairs all the time. This cures faster, doesn't get hot, and holds a charge for a lot longer. I also love the fact that you can open this guy up, pop out the 18650 cell, and put a new one in, if anything should happen to the cell. Meaning reduction in E-WASTE since the LED should long outlast the battery. It does charge a bit slow, but is to be expected from these devices, they all seem to be plagued with terrible charging circuitry. In conclusion, 100% would recommend, the focusing gimmick works great, easy to manipulate, hard metal shell, perfectly sized to be not too big or too small, replaceable battery, so if you do need this for prolonged field use, you can just chuck a few extra 18650 cells in your bag. Loved it so much, bought one for a friend who has gotten a lot of use out of it, already. Veterinarian and hobbyist approved.

Great for what it is used for, like thrifting and looking for uranium glass, and other glass that glows. Also works for finding the spots on carpet that your pup may have had an accident. It’s a pretty strong light compared to the little pen lights. And I like being able to recharge it.

It feels solid, it charges reasonably quickly, battery life is good, and light output is more than sufficient for any use I have. I see scads of these with different names that all appear to be essentially identical. I have two, one 395nm and one 365nm, and I can’t really the difference between them. Five stars for value for the price.

This UV source is very bright which makes it easy to see anything nearby that fluoresces when illuminated. Despite this, the unit is very compact. The switch is positive and it is nice it is illuminated. The unit charges easily.

Works perfectly with my resin!!

Great for seeing where cats have thrown up water, or urinated outside the litter box .. making it easier for timely clean up. Also good for identifying free roaming cat urine outdoors for premises clean up and where deterrent measures should be put in place.

This is a very good UV light. I got it mainly for curing resin for my 3D printer and it excels at that. No problems as with some of the other reviews. I'm very happy with it and I would recommend it to others.
