The FeiyuTech SCORP 2 is more than just a refined version of SCORP C (Gen 1) which I had been using since 2022, the built in AI and the upgraded motors make this the perfect gimbal for solo video maker. The AI tracking is one of the best I have come across, accurate tracking means a lot less oops moments when camera is out of frame. The phone app is very easy to use and the graphic interface means you don't need to be a tech expert to use the more advance settings like time lapse and pre set A to B pan shorts. Setting up the camera on the mount is a bit fiddley but you only need to do it once, the quick mounting plate allows the camera to be off the gimbal and back on with just a click. There is also an extra bracket included for vertical mount for 9:16 phone video style for IG, FB and YT shorts videos. The motor is strong and it will handle up to 2.5kg load as long as it is well balanced, there is a list of compatible camera and lens for look up and even tho the motors are working to its limit I managed to mount my Canon EOS R with the 70-200L f4 long lens just to test out the gimbal and it works for slow action like walking and moving about which was a surprise. The carbon fiber extension is extremely light and it feels like part of the gimbal once screw into the base of the gimbal, with the included wide tripod base it is stable enough for low level shots. Battery lasted around 6-7 hours with my EOS R and moving around all the time, it can be used while plugged in for extended use. It takes less then 2 hours to charge with a PD phone charger, we always have full battery by using a PD power bank plugged in between shoots. The hand gesture is one of the function I used the most with the SCORP 2, it pick up hand signs instantly and the Double L shape gesture allows custom framing which is a massive time saving for "one man band" video maker like myself. Just make the Double L hand sign move to where you want to be in the frame and re active the AI tracking and it will track your movements but still keep you in the part of the frame you wanted. Spread Palm to start recording and then same hand gesture to stop, no more back and fort to the camera from my station hundreds of times between shots. Overall I am really happy with my purchase and I am happy with my upgrade from the SCORP C

Excellent quality Gimbal from FeiyuTech made from excellent materials. I am no expert when it comes to gimbals but I have used different gimbal brands in the past so I know the basics. The main feature about this gimbal is the AI tracking this is nothing new in gimbals but I will say this is the best I have personally used and the fact it is inbuilt no extra accessories is needed is a huge bonus. The AI tracking can be activated and stopped using hand gestures you do have to be in the frame and in range for the gestures to work obviously. It is very fast and smooth which is exactly what you want for you footage even when I have walked behind a tree it has detected me on the other side of the tree which is a very nice touch. Another feature I like are the markers what this means you can setup all the balancing perfect, set the markers and when done for the day pack it all away. Then the next time you use the gimbal as long as you are using the same camera & lens you can adjust the sliders to the markers and there is no need to rebalance from start this is a game changer for me why did it take so long for someone to think of this THANK YOU FeiyuTech. I also like the big wheel control on the front of the gimbal you can use this to adjust the tilt and at a press of another button you can switch this to control the panning and also rolls this makes it so muck quicker and simpler to control the gimbal. The display is a bit smaller than I would have liked it to be BUT it is bright and clear to read, FeiyuTech have made very good use of the screen size. And as you would expect these days it is touch screen. The gimbal stabilisation is very good and this is even without me doing the gimbal shuffle/walk another box ticked. My only grumble is with the battery life I am getting about six and a half hours of constant use BUT this is probably down to my skill level and balancing etc BUT currently for me personally this is more than enough time. Overall I am very happy with the gimbal and I would definitely recommend it.

High quality kit which is solid and well made. The fit and finish on everything is impressive to say the least. I honestly was expecting less, but this looks highly robust and like it will last a long time. Feature wise, this is excellent, and offers everything I could want from a stabilising rig and more! I was impressed not only by the smoothness of the gimbal, which performs flawlessly, but also by the tracking feature. I didn't even realise what it was at first, but having used it, it really transforms my ability to produce professional content with relative ease. Combined with a quality camera (and a drone), I think this is pretty much all the modern solo video journalist could want.

Molto utile e facile da installare. Pero ho avuto problemi a configurare la mia camera sony a7r2, ottica canon 24mm70, con il cavo fornito insieme. Mi era impossiblie di fare scatti. Non riconosceva la sony. E poi ho avuto una piccola vibrazione dopo 3 giorni di utilizzo, che mi portava sempre a rinconficurare autocalibrazione. Però un ottimo prodotto con AI e i motori molto reativi. Ho anche riuscito a installare feiyu on però con il samsung ultra 24 in Bluetooth non mi era possibile di fare funzionare il scatto dal scorp.

Puede que tenga un total de 5 gimbals y cada poco voy comprando alguno nuevo para por que me gusta mucho trabajar con ellos. Tengo y he tenido de todas las marcas, pero si he de quedarme con una seguramente Feiyu sea la mejor por calidad, por precio, por durabilidad, por soporte, aplicación, envejecimiento… y así podría seguir un buen rato. FeiyuTech Scorp C es uno de mis favoritos, tanto que tengo dos actualmente, pero quería probar este último modelo, el Scorp 2 porque es mas potente que el C y por que ya incorpora una pequeño pantalla LCD táctil de 1,3” que nos permite saber en todo momento la información del trabajo que estamos realizando. Principalmente mejora la potencia de los motores. Motores que se desenvuelven con mucha soltura incluso con esta viaja cámara Nikon con un objetivo bastante pesado. Un 108 105 que pasa más de 450 gramos lo que hace que el conjunto se suba mas o menos a los 890 gramos. Una cámara muy pesada la verdad. Lo importante para que este tipo de gimbal funciona perfectamente es centrar muy bien la cámara. De nada sirve tener el gimbal más potente del mundo si no centramos la cámara muy bien en su sitio, ya que nos cabeceará o los motores empezaran a temblar con control. Este tipo de gimbal son muy potentes pero si queremos que el video quede perfecto, hay que saber distribuir bien los pesos para que el gimbal pueda operar en los diferentes modos. Esto lo digo por que hay que configurar la cámara en las 3 dimensiones, horizontal, vertical y mirando para arriba, ya que si queremos hacer el efecto inceptión correctamente hay que tener este ultimo aspecto bien equilibrado. Es el más difícil de conseguir, pero una vez hecho tenemos la posibilidad de poder fijar los 3, y así poder soltar la zapata sin tener que hacer la configuración cada vez que soltamos la cámara. Es una pena que no haya un estándar en cuanto a zapatas, y que cada vez que cambiamos al gimbal, o al trípode etc tengamos que soltarlas o cambiarlas, des configurando por completo el equilibrio que tengamos ya prefijado. Un estándar en este tipo de zapatas haría que pudiéramos cambiar por diferentes gimbals sin perder ese equilibrio. El gimbal tiene unas características muy profesionales a parte de las que nos ofrecen la potencia de sus motores y los diferentes modos de filmación y efectos, también disponemos de, Body Traking, Face traking, seguimento de objetos, Control por gestos, pantalla táctil de 1,3” para una configuración rápida, rueda de control y micro ajuste, joystick para poder enfocar u girar los motores en la dirección que deseemos cuando lo tengamos montado en un trípode o sobre una mesa gracias al diseño del mismo y a sus patas desplegables. Además desde la aplicación podremos configurar muchas más opciones como la potencia y respuesta de los motores, algo muy importante según el tipo de cámara que usemos y el tipo de grabación. Posibilidad también de hacer time lapses, trackings por puntos y foros panorámicas de gran tamaño gracias al sistemas de movimiento automático y encuadre, efectos Dolly, transiciones… y un montón de funciones más de las que podremos sacar mucho partido con un poco de imaginación. Con el propio móvil, inclinándolo a los lados podremos manejar el móvil el móvil a distancia, lo que nos permite poder ponerlo en un sitio elevado y con la aplicación poder moverlo completamente a distancia. Es una función muy útil y práctica para muchos de nuestros trabajos. Es un gran gimbal y sabiéndole sacar partido una herramienta que te ayuda mucho a dar un salto de profesionalidad brutal en tus videos. Es una compra que se podría decir que casi es obligatoria si te gusta el video y la fotografía. MUY MUY MUY BUENO

I've been wanting to get myself an actual camera gimbal for a very long time. I've had mobile phone gimbals in the past but now I can tell why other people still prefer this kind. There is a huge difference when it comes to weight factor but you can tell that this FeiyuTech SCORP 2 well built. Buttons are tactile, knob is smooth. Though it takes a while to learn all the buttons and it's features, there's a compatible app for Apple and Android that has videos and guides to get you up and running in no time! What I also love about the FeiyuTech SCORP 2 is the AI tracking feature. You basically set the gimbal on a table, stand in front of the camera and do the "ok" gesture and it'll start tracking you. Everything you need to get started comes with the kit. Whether you're a beginner or a pro, everybody can be comfortable using it. Overall, the FeiyuTech Scorp 2 Gimbal is a standout performer in its class. I am a solo content creator. And this gimbal is a life saver. I bought it for the AI traker. Works perfect with my full frame camera and I use it for my phone also. Very easy to setup.
