Scale Master Pro

I've been in construction for over 20 years and was sceptical when a colleague mentioned this product. But having used it for over a year now, I think it's amazing. When you have a quick job to price, this makes the take offs so easy and quick, you wonder how you managed before. I still use a trusty scale ruler for some things, but this little tool does most of the work. The ability to set your own scale takes all the problems out of odd scaled drawings or drawings printed the wrong size. As long as you know one dimension, you can measure the rest. I wouldn't recommend it for accurate works, but for tender quantities it is brilliant. Well worth the investment.

This product is awesome. If you don't have a scale:ruler or the drawing has been produced to an uncommon scale, this is no problem for this baby. You can set your own scale and measure out travel distances in fire plans, total square meterage, all sorts. It's so much quicker than using a ruler and it adds it all up for you. I haven't worked out all the functions yet, but it does what I want it to brilliantly

Very good easy to use once you get used to it

The only thing on the market that seems to do what I wanted. A bit fiddly to set up so that it works OK with 1:25000 OS maps and still shows miles and not km, but only have to do it once. Quite sensitive to small movements so needs a steady hand. Very glad that I spent a bit more and got a quality product.

Bought this when was working for an M&E company to measure pipework (over 2000 drawings to remeasure) great bit of kit still going strong 2 years on so quick to take off drawings and acuracey i spot on (generally I measure 3 times and average - but don't really need to). I have advised all other QS' I work with to invest in one.

Perfect device for estimating fire alarm projects

Easy to use product great for doing take offs especially when you have to print drawings smaller than original scale.

After 7 years of steady use (I am an estimator at a lumber supply company) this still working great. I have measured takeoffs with it during the Covid19 boom in house construction so its seen 1000's of plans for single family homes, and multi unit condo blocks. A co worker has an earlier model that's average 15 years old. He's only had to 1 time replace the wheel. I have not had to do a wheel replacement, but if I do need to there is a replacement kit you can purchase. Highly recommend this tool.

Lo uso quotidianamente per lavoro, anche il peso non è eccessivo, avendolo solo da tre settimane funziona ancora tutto, solo la rotellina sembra fragile, ma spero di sbagliarmi
