I honestly thought I'd like the rice water shampoo over the caster oil but it turns out it was the other way around so I'm really glad I got this little sample set to test it out before committing to a full bar. Both conditioners are fine but I liked the coconut oil the best. The scents are mild for all the bars which I love because I'm sensitive to smells. If you're looking to dip your toes into this brand then you HAVE to get this sample set. I have thick hair with an oily scalp. At first I thought the caster wasn't working while I was in the shower, the texture of my hair felt off, but after a few days it worked its magic. My hair was still soft and it really helped curb the oil. I'd imagine if you have dry hair the rice shampoo would be best. It doesn't work as well to curb my oily hair but it is still a decent product and I'm happy to use it up.

I bought this to try since the shampoo and conditioner I normally use is no longer sold in my area. I purchased the sampler to try after seeing it advertised on Facebook and instagram. Even though I don’t see quite the same results as shown I still absolutely love this shampoo and conditioner. My hair has slowly been turning gray since my 30s. I am now 46 with a mixture of gray hair and normal hair. The gray has always been hard to style. I have been using the protein rice wash and conditioner now for a week and my hair has become so manageable that I almost don’t even need to use a brush to style.( My hair is a short style wit natural curl so I only use a hairdryer and brushes to style.) My hair is so soft and feels so great and healthy. The scent is so soft and amazing I look forward to washing my hair everyday. I used the caster oil shampoo and coconut conditioner today since I used my normal purple shampoo since I have color treated hair. Again I am blown away by how it made my hair feel and look. The only result I have seen yet is the shine or the hair thickness, but again it has only been a week. I would so highly recommend this product to anyone and all hair types. The only real problem I have is that there are so many to try I am I really want to try all of them. I have already purchased the full bar in rice protein shampoo and conditioner and will purchase the caster oil shampoo and coconut conditioner in full bars as well. I really want to try the purple bar and the tea tree and mint shampoo and conditioner. This is an amazing shampoo if you try it I know you will love it too!

This shampoo and conditioner kit consist of 2 square shampoos and 2 conditioners. Their smell is pleasant but mostly neutral. There isn’t much lather and I felt like I had to “work” the bar for a while. Did a decent job and my hair feels good afterwards. Still, I probably won’t buy this brand again

Initially, I liked how clean my hair felt. And I enjoyed the smells. The conditioning was okay at first. But after using them for a few weeks, but my hair became dry and frizy at the ends and started flaking at the scalp, which it has never done before! I'm going back to something that works better for me. UPDATE: Upgrading my stars to 3: when I reviewed the product of the sampler of shampoo and conditioner bars, I indicated it was very drying for my hair and scalp, however they responded to me with apologies and an offer of a full refund. I declined the refund because I know they spent money on making the product and I feel it might work for others. I'm not sure if the good customer service is from just the seller, or the maker of the product or if those are one and the same. But rest assured, if things stay the same, it is worth trying the product, who knows where the dryness came from? It could be hormonal or seasonal or something. I wouldn't hesitate to try the sampler because it is refundable.

Didn't want to commit to the big bar incase I didn't like it so I found these samples. Just use the rice water shampoo and conditioner. They are fairly small squares and I thought I'd definitely go thru half the size after the first round. Size hardly changed so I could see how the bigger bars last so long. After the shampoo my hair felt very nice. Not dried out even in the shower. The conditioner felt very nice too. Took a minute to saturate my hair, but wasn't a big deal. It was a small square after all. After the shower I didn't feel the need to use my expensive leave in conditioner that I always use before I blow dry. My hair looked and still feels super soft, light, and moisturized after drying. I think this will be my new shower go to.

Great little bars of shampoo and conditioner gives you a feel if you'll like it on your hair or not. One is rice and the others castor oil. The rice one makes my hair really soft and I've yet to try the castor oil one. I think we have a hit here.

We decided to try this out in preparation of an upcoming trip. It didn't lather up as much as bottle shampoo but successfully washed hair without residue. Hair was soft and shiny after use.

These are very small, even smaller than I had anticipated, but after three weeks of daily use I still have about 1/2 of each shampoo left. The conditioner bars are a different story. They are much softer and don’t hold up nearly as well, so I probably have three or four days of use left with them. I LOVE the smell, no issues with lathering, the product seems to work really well. I didn’t like the way the rice water shampoo left my hair, but that’s compatibility, not a product issue. My hair is straight and long, fine hair but a there’s lot of it. I know I mentioned it already, but the smell is just amazing. I ordered two full-size bars based on my trial, I’m hoping that a large conditioning bar holds up better.

These are too small pieces. It's difficult to hold them even while bathing! The price is too overhyped for the product. I've already tried two of your soaps, with little or no positive result.

Both mine and my spouses hair had become very dry for no apparent reason. Always bought good product. Decided to try this on the advise of a friend. Love it from the very first wash. So much so I have ordered the bigger option. We are both hooked, the scents are amazing too!

Best shampoo bar I’ve used. Leaves my hair soft and shiny. Wish the samples were round though, it can be difficult to lather up a cube.
