Heavy duty velcro command strips will be your friend!
This camera has been an awesome tool for keeping track of my cats when I work long hours or go on weekend getaways. I love the interactive features like being able to talk to them and toss them treats, and the required subscription was reasonably priced for the 2-year option. Nice to have the extra security of the cameras too see if anybody enters my home too. Setup instructions were easy to follow, and it was easy to customize my settings on the app. Video quality is great, and clear even on night mode. The only negative is that one of my boys is too smart for his own good- within a few hours, he figured out that Furbo contained a nice reserve of cat treats, and he took to engaging in battle with it to knock it off the shelf and pry off the lid to self-dispense treats- so if you order this, I'd recommend also ordering heavy duty velcro command strips to tack it down BEFORE you have to worry about how much damage to the electronics your cat can inflict, as the provided adhesive was no match for my determined big boy. (Can verify that Furbo is incredibly durable, and even after having taken a couple dozen 6-foot falls, had no recognizable damage or diminished quality.) (Can also verify that the Furbo has limited usefulness when laying on its side on the floor after losing to my demon cat, hence the velcro.) Great product.

The Ultimate Peace of Mind for Anxious Cat Parents (And a Ton of Fun!)
Overall Rating: ★★★★★ (5/5) As a devoted cat parent, I'm plagued by the classic questions every time I leave the house: Is he okay? Is he bored? Is he lonely? Did he just knock over that expensive vase? I've tried other pet cameras before, but they were always static, and my cat, like most, is not a statue. He roams. I would end up staring at an empty patch of carpet, which did nothing for my anxiety. Enter the Furbo 360° Cat Camera. I was intrigued by the 360-degree view and the smart features. After several weeks of use, I can say without hesitation that this is the single best "pet-tech" purchase I have ever made. It's a peace-of-mind machine. Section 1: Unboxing, Design, and Setup The setup process was impressively simple. I downloaded the Furbo app, plugged in the camera, and followed the on-screen instructions to connect it to my home Wi-Fi. The entire process took less than five minutes. The unit itself is sleek, modern, and sturdy. It doesn't look like a clunky piece of security tech; it blends right into my living room decor. The base is wide and heavy enough that my cat has (so far) shown no ability or interest in knocking it over. The treat-loading mechanism is simple, and I love the natural bamboo lid, which feels secure and "pet safe"—no easy-to-chew plastic bits. Section 2: The Hardware (What You Get Out of the Box) The core features of the camera itself are fantastic, even without the subscription. The 360° View: This is the absolute game-changer. Through the app, I can swipe to pan the camera a full 360 degrees. But the real magic is the auto-tracking. When the camera sees my cat move, it automatically follows him. I no longer lose him as he walks from the couch to his food bowl. I can see everything. Video & Audio Quality: The 1080p HD video is crystal clear during the day. The auto-night vision is equally sharp, allowing me to see his late-night "zoomies" in perfect black-and-white detail. The two-way audio is crisp with minimal lag. I can call his name, and he instantly looks up and often meows or chirps back. The Treat Tosser: This is my cat's favorite feature, by far. The app has a simple button to toss a treat. The Furbo makes a little "calling" sound (which my cat learned in less than a day), and then it quietly flings a treat across the room. It’s a wonderful way to interact and reward him for just being cute, even when I'm at the office. Section 3: The "Furbo Nanny" Paid Plan (The Smart Features) This is the most important part of the review. To unlock the smartest features—the proactive alerts, cloud recording, and advanced security—you need the paid "Furbo Nanny" subscription. I was hesitant at first, but after the free trial, I was completely sold. The hardware is the "eyes," but the subscription is the "brain." Here’s what made it an easy decision for me: Proactive, Specific Alerts: This isn't just a generic "motion detected" alert that my old security cam gave me for every dust bunny. Furbo Nanny gives me alerts I actually care about: Cat Activity Alert: I get a push notification specifically when my cat is running, playing, or jumping on furniture. I can quickly check in, see he's just being a cat, and go back to my work. Meowing Alert: This is my most-used feature. The Furbo detects the sound of meowing and alerts me. I can then open the app, see if he's just saying hello or seems distressed, and use the two-way audio to talk to him and calm him down. It has been a miracle for my "is he okay?" anxiety. Person Alert (Home Security): This is the "Home Security" feature. The camera can tell the difference between a pet and a person. I get a specific "Person Detected" alert, which is invaluable. I know exactly when the cat sitter arrives or, more importantly, if someone who isn't supposed to be there enters my apartment. Cloud Recording & "Kitty Diary": The Nanny service records these "events" (meowing, activity, people) and saves them to the cloud. My favorite part is the "Doggie/Kitty Diary." At the end of the day, the app creates a 60-second highlight reel of my cat's activities, set to cheerful music. It's beyond charming and saves me from having to scrub through hours of footage to find the cute moments. Section 4: The Verdict: True Peace of Mind The Furbo 360° Cat Camera is a premium product, and the subscription is an added cost. However, the value it provides is immense. I am no longer a high-anxiety cat parent. When I'm in a long meeting and my phone buzzes, I see a "Cat Activity" alert, open the app, watch my cat bat his favorite toy, toss him a treat, and close the app with a smile. It's a security camera and a pet interaction tool all in one. It has strengthened my bond with my cat and given me the freedom to be away from home without the guilt. If you, too, are an anxious pet parent, you cannot put a price on the peace of mind this device delivers. It's worth every penny.

Don’t buy- not worth it at all
UGH. I had high hopes for the Furbo Mini Pet Camera. Unfortunately, UGH double UGH triple UGH. I don’t like it all nor does my dog! This product is unfortunately what I would call an “epic fail”. I’ve had this camera for a few weeks now and I did (unfortunately) pay for the subscription service so in total the camera cost more than a regular security camera I could have bought and used an SD card with. Things to keep in mind: 01) The mini pet cam does not dispense treats. I do not need it to do that but I wanted to point that out as the larger/regular one does. 02) The camera lens looks straight ahead, you cannot move the direction the camera is looking in remotely. For example if you get an alert your dog is chewing or doing something bad but then moves out of the frame, you cannot move the camera to see them. I’ve had other cameras like Netvue or Kasa that can rotate on their own. I do think my dog likes that it doesn’t rotate as you don’t hear the sound of that. 03) Photo quality is VERY POOR. I get an alert my dog is chewing on something- I cannot see what it is, I cannot zoom in enough to see. 04) I am constantly alerted that a human was spotted and get super scared and anxious that someone is in my house- however, it’s just my dog. Apparently, Furbo thinks my dog is more human. 05) You only can get the same alert every 30 minutes? 30 minutes is too long to alert me to something if my dog is sick. 06) constantly loses connection and tells me I don’t have internet when I do or that the power was disconnected but it’s not. I can’t magically disconnect and reconnect every time this happens as I need to be able to view the camera from afar…. What use it is if it’s constantly going out on me? The subscription is an absolute rip off. A joke. Furbo should be ashamed of themselves for selling such a poorly made camera. If I could give negative stars I would! This review is written by a human that has a verified purchase of this camera and subscription. I will gladly be sharing this review across sites and platforms so others do not get ripped off like me! You are much better paying for a different camera of higher quality and features. I wanted to like this and bought this as it’s specifically geared towards pets and I thought it would be nice to receive notifications on what my pet was doing. The AI just isn’t that great. UPDATE: I just received a message from Furbo? The seller? Who knows. They want me to send them photos detailing my issues so they can help me. Take photos of the sticker on the bottom of my device. Asking what color the light is on the device, blaming poor connectivity on ME. ENOUGH. I have had enough with these sellers trying to sell me on a product that is awful and I don’t want anymore. I do not recommend this camera and I surely do not recommend the subscription service which is the bigger rip off and Furbo isn’t going to change my mind. Serious updates need to be made to this camera and troubleshooting is not going to solve the poor photo quality, the inability to get notifications every 1-5 minutes instead of 30 minutes? It’s not. Again, if I’m not home how can I troubleshoot my internet connection or turn the camera on/off and fix it from afar? I can’t. This camera is useless and I give zero stars. This is a verified purchase.

Solid Pet Camera, Outstanding "Smart" Features
I bought the Furbo Mini 360 because I am a new dog parent and we are working on leaving my pup at home and monitoring her separation anxiety. The Furbo Nanny (subscription required) is really something else; it can accurately inform you if your dog is crying, howling, or barking. It plays calming music if you want, to help your pet relax while you're away. Whenever it detects an event (movement/bark/cry/howl), it records the event and let's you go back to see what happened at what time, in what sequence. Set up was easy on my iPhone, and I don't imagine it to be much different on other platforms. It uses a bamboo-like material for the top cap, which is a nice touch. Camera quality is impeccable at 2K even under low light, while $75 for a device that requires subscription is a bit high, keep an eye out for prime day and you can get them for a good deal! I've also tried many other cameras on the market and this Furbo camera does not require you to separately purchase an external storage card which is also a plus. The only complaint I have for this device is that although it has a 360 viewing angle, panning up or down is somewhat limited. Otherwise, this is a perfect pet camera for those owners who gets just as anxious as your pup when you first start leaving them home alone!

Serves its purpose!
Love this! I Bought it for my 2 kitties. Had to put it on a low dresser so that I could see the cuties running around the house. Its great to be able to move the views to be able to get a good look at them, The treats have to be small for them to not get stuck and you can only really put 4-5 treats on it because it is a smaller camera, however, it did serve its purpose and I love being able to talk to them and hear them through the camera. It was really easy to set up - (single mom and not super techy) - the picture quality is great, even at night I can see my kitties running around the house and as long as your Wi-Fi works then your connection will be great.!

Great Doggy Nanny Cam
This camera is great! The motion detector tells me when my dog is barking, chewing, pooping, throwing up, active, standing by the door everything. It’s great for the price and I can use it as a two way radio pretty much. It gives a daily diary and summary of your pup. The only reason it’s not a five star from me is the subscription fee although it is very affordable.

Hands down one of my favorite 2025 purchases
I love these! I have three cats at home and I love that I can check in on them when I’m at work. I have one in the bedroom and I have one in the kitchen. I have the mini ones and they don’t take up much room at all. I forget they are there sometimes. You can tell when it’s recording because of the red light that pops up but besides that it doesn’t make noise or flash or anything distracting. The night vision is incredible you literally can see everything crystal clear. It is really worth it for the price. You have to pay for the app which is the only downside. But the app makes cute collection videos of the cats for me to view later. And it has an AI component that can identify which cat is which!
