My husband loves The Far Side. I buy him a desk calendar every Christmas, and it's always a hit!

I get these for my dad every Christmas. He always enjoys them and sends me pictures thru the year when he finds a really funny page.

Gotta love Gary Larson. The cartoons are a bit dated, but he is the funniest comic I know. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was ... as much as I appreciate the non-plastic "green" packaging, the cardboard isn't strong enough to last on my desk for the full year.

My dad loved the tear away daily Far Side calendars when I was growing up. I knew the calendar would always be an appreciated gift. Dad would often sub our names over the characters in the comics and slip the extra funny ones to us. Now Dad has the beginning stages of dementia. I was so happy when I saw they were reprinting the calendars. Bought him one for Christmas. Dad wasn’t as excited as he was in his prime but that’s to be expected. Hoping that using the calendar will make dad laugh and possibly spark memories of good times. The quality of these Far Side calendars is great, just like they were back in the day. Highly recommend if you enjoy this type of twisted and silly humor. :)

I loved this so much, I bought another for my Dad for his bday. We love Far Side humour and have really missed the fabulous sense of humour Gary Laarson offers.

Gary Larson is the genius of humour - this will provide a smile every weekday. You only get the one cartoon for the weekend - it USED to be every day, perhaps this is what they are doing to hide the tariffs from the consumer.

I've been using the FAR SIDE desk calendar for more than 10 years now and it has the best cartoons and format. I will never stop using this calendar as long as it's in production.
