3-Piece Mini Watering Globe Set, Colorful Hand-Blown Glass Plant Watering System

I like the way these look and function. The globes are roughly the size of a tennis ball. I am using these with some 10+ year old aloes and umbrella plants. I have found that if the soil in my houseplants is allowed to get dry between refills, the globes can be difficult to reinsert into the hardened soil. Because they are delicate, I use caution when pushing them back into the hardened soil. Also, the globes often get soil stuck inside the stem when they are removed for refilling. I have found that a drinking straw cleaning brush works well to clear the soil out of the stem so it can in turn be rinsed out of the globe.

Pretty and perfect size for medium/small size pots.

Works well but very fragile

Helps keep plants watered without worrying about it too much. Fill it up, put it in the plant, and let it be until it's time to fill it again.

The bulb have worked great and are not too fragile.

While very pretty, and real glass, they are not very durable and don't hold enough water for long-term watering use beyond a few days. The stems broke in my planter while just sitting there (no forcing into the dirt or dropping), and the stems do clog with dirt pretty easily. The bulbs aren't large enough to hold much water.

These self watering globes are excellent for my office plants! It saves me from having to water them daily and helps keep them moist over long weekends when I'm not there! This 3 pack is perfect for placing in the several different pots I have, are super stylish and easy to use! I'm hoping they will keep the soil wet enough over the next 9 days while im on vacation. So far I haven't left them for more than a few days at a time. Cost wise they are very affordable and so far I'm quite happy!

I bought this set for a few smaller potted plants I have, and they are perfect. Nice size, pretty colors, and they work very well. Would make a great gift, too.
