ASICS Improved!!!❤️
I have had to wear ASICS for years, the Kata I especially for flat feet and Arthritis in my left hip! They are literally the only shoe that works for me, and I have tried dozens… even a different model of ASICS! This new Mesh Knit has been a dream: due to lack of flexibility in my left hip getting the regular tongue shoe in is a pain! Not having a tongue to worry about is awesome!I have seen some comments about the back diggin into the heal, I had that, but for that is normal with new sneakers. After wearing these a few days, no major issues.Things to keep in mind, I don’t walk long distances and get in 8000 steps a day.I was seriously going to try kizits for easy slip on, these shoes changed my mind and I am going to buy a few more pairs.

True to size
This Mesh Knit running shoe which my wife uses for walking 3 miles each of 6 days/wk was true to size and she loves the shoe.

Careful which socks you wear!
Great shoes. They hold up well. I'm not a fan of the rim that grabs your foot/leg. I'm sure there's a better term - but BEWARE! I wore them the first time with my no-show socks and they rubbed the deepest cut in the back of my ankle. It was raw for weeks. I had to buy anklet-type socks which I don't love wearing, but after I had the right socks, the shoes have been good. The color also stays clean a long time!

Hard to get on and off
Ive worn Asics for years and generally like them, and although I am keeping this pair, I’m not as happy with them as I usually am with Asics. The problem is that there is no tongue so the laces go across the top of the shoe. Again, there is no tongue and the top of the shoe goes up really high on my foot. I can’t open the shoe up to slide my foot in easily. My feet are narrow and these shoes are a B width, and I’ve never had this problem before. The laces that came with the shoe were way too long and caused tripping, so I replaced them with elastic, locking laces which mostly work better for me. I wouldn’t recommend this style of Asics for anyone with a medium or wide foot. Even if they were meant to be slip ons, they are too difficult to get on. Im hoping, that with wear, the top will loosen up because the shoe fits well and is comfortable.

Nice and comfortable
I like this sneakers… it’s comfortable. I bought it for running and to ease my the pain in my heels …. I will update once I test it on a long distance run.Update… I don’t find this sneakers effective in relieving my heel pain. I no longer wear it for long distances but instead wear it at the gym.

Terrible shoes
I hate these shoes. They are so tight around my ankles and the tops of my feet. I don’t have abnormally fat feet or anything. They are the correct size, but it’s like putting on compression socks to get them on. I can’t imagine anyone finding these comfortable. Additionally, there is a lip on the back of the shoe that serves no purpose except to give you a blister on the back of your leg right above the top of your ankle sock. I wish I could get my money back for these, but I ran in them twice thinking I would get use to them and wear taller socks. I get mad every time I look at them.

Nope
I buy this style of Asics every year. This one didn't have a tongue! I do in home sessions with my families and have to take off my shoes in many homes. These were a pain in the ass to put on quickly.Thank goodness my daughter wears the same shoe size

Great for overpronation
I use these as my running shoes. When my daughter started complaining about pain after running, I sat down and talked with her about it. I watched her run a few steps, and she overpronates. After a few weeks in these shoes, she is no longer afraid of running! She can run pain free.
