Perfect for Desk Organization
I picked up this ORICO USB hub because I was tired of reaching around the back of my PC every time I needed to plug in a flash drive or my external SSD. The clamp design is brilliant – it mounted securely to the edge of my desk in seconds, and it looks clean and professional. The build quality is solid too – metal, not cheap plastic, which was a nice surprise at this price point. The USB ports work great for data transfer. I’ve used all three USB-A ports and the USB-C port with no issues moving files from external drives and connecting peripherals like my webcam and mouse dongle. Speeds seem solid and consistent. My only real gripe is that it doesn’t really charge devices effectively. I tried plugging in my phone and wireless earbuds, and they either charged very slowly or not at all unless I added a separate power source. It’s fine for accessories, but if you’re hoping to use this as a charging station too, you’ll be disappointed unless you provide extra power. That said, for decluttering your desk and making your USB ports more accessible, this is a great little device. Just know what you’re getting – it’s a USB hub for data, not a charging dock.

It clamps, it works.
This is just one of those goofy items I needed because I wanted a USB hub I could clamp to a desk. Nice aluminum build quality, full range of USB ports. Not much else to say other than it works.

Good simple device
Clamps on nicely, inobtrusive, and works well.

Works well. Very accessible. Ad not very clear. Data ports only. Not for charging phones.
This clamped data splitter makes adding USB data input/outputs easy because you can put it in very accessible places (unlike the USB ports on the back of your PC). It can power inputs such as a wired keyboard/mouse but this is very limited. It also has a power input port for making data inputs more reliable. But you have to buy your own separate power supply to hook up to it. This is a nice plus, but it is not critical - the splitter will work without the separate power supply! But here's the rub: after you order this item, the seller emails you to let you know that it cannot be used to charge a phone or anything else - it is NOT a USB power port even with the add-on power supply attached. So if that was a feature that you wanted based on the "power port" description in the advertisement, you should be prepared to be unpleasantly surprised! The ad is unclear on this point (at best) but to me it borders on being deceptive. At the very least, if you want to use it to charge or power a device, then email the supplier to ask the question before you order it.

Helped reduce the mess in my home office.
I was looking for a solution like this for a while. In my home office, I have several computers, and they are under my desk. I have to often reach under the desk and behind it, in a messy cabling to check if the USB disk or headphone/others are properly plunged.Install this at the edge of your desk, connect the cable to a free USB port, and you are done. Works as expected.

Great value and adaptability
Works really well. The ability to switch between a usb type-b and usb type-c plug is awesome!

Always disconnecting
Had this for already a few months and I gotta say this adapter is not good in terms of reliability. I had a lot of times randomly just my Keyboard and whatever connected to it turn off because of the adapter losing power for some odd reason. So instead I stop using this adapter and just plugged everything to my PC.
