Well here is what I have to say... I watched Martin Amayas review of this on youtube along with 2 others and well... It's made in the USA and engineered to perfection! This is one solid piece of high quality steel. There is no doubt this is top quality. I put it in my cigar case and use it daily! The knurling has been done very well and the grip is on point. Lastly, being able to put virtually anywhere is not a burden to carry. All the guys at my cigar club have bought one and they only wish it came out earlier. My hat is off to The Cigar Bar.

…..it works great. It is heavy duty. Nice grip and the does not spin. Buy it if you nub your cigars. Great tool if you want get every puff you can. The quality is excellent. What else can say? It works.

I literally just received this so bear that in mind, but these are my initial impressions: The Cigar Bar feels very good in the hand and has a nice weight to it. At a glance, it would seem very well-designed. However, I believe I noticed a couple potential areas of improvement right off the bat. First, the ends of the Cigar Bar (the flat portions) do not seem perfectly flat. When I try to stand it up on my desk, it wobbles. This is rather annoying, and especially so because I think the Cigar Bar could double as a stand otherwise. I am actually quite perplexed as to why this surfce is not flat. Additionally, perhaps it could be considered in a future design to more heavily weight the end of the bar that's hold in the end (so that it has a lower center of gravity and can stand up straight on a flat surface better). I think this would be pretty cool, actually. Imagine if you put a little tungsten in the end lol. I'm sure this would drive the cost up but it would be awesome. Secondly, the screw mechanism seems a bit insecure. I've already seen at least one review where a guy lost his because it became unscrewed somehow. In my opinion it's just a little too easy to unscrew the Cigar Bar and if you are carrying this on a keychain I can easily see how it could become lost. Perhaps some kind of magnets could be used as a way to help secure the two halves better when they're joined? Or perhaps there's another solution that might help "lock" the two halves just a bit better when they're screwed together. Finally, I've seen other nubbers that have some kind of serration or fins or some such in order to grab the cigar better. It might seem fairly trivial to add this to the Cigar Bar, though I'm unsure if it would be necessary or not (as I haven't used it yet). Anyways, those are my initial thoughts. Other than these things I really like the design and the feel of it. I just wish it stood on my desk better and didn't screw apart quite as easily.

It's nice but the pin is a little too thick for Robusto and Gordo cigars.
