I love this kit! I actually bought 2 of these and gave one to my sister! Perfect starter kit and high-quality items! It's very functional and fun for every age! Great value for the money! Colors are vibrant and fun! The yarn is thin, so I recommend a smaller hook size, but overall, I would highly recommend this kit! The travel case is amazing! Easy to use!

Nice variety of colors, tho the skeins are small. The yarn is soft and slippery, making it a dit difficult to work as a beginner, but you get the hang of it after a while. The accessories like the stitch marker, and needles are sucky and will break if you put even a bit of pressure, and had weird smell at first, but was gone later. (I recommend buying metal needles and use safety pins as markers instead). The eyes and pearl are not great either, poor quality and need glue to attach. I've finished using quite a bit of the skeins by now. It's good for people to start out I think, since I started crocheting with it. But the bag... oh the bag. The space inside it is endless, and I love it.

I got this for someone who is learning to knit and they absolutely loved it. I went with the larger kit and was so impressed it even came with a carry bag!

I got the one with the frog/panda/hedgehog for reference. The good- the black, green and white yarn were all extremely beginner friendly (like I overworked the yarn a lot with my trial and errors and it didn't fray. I received all the supplies I was supposed to, and seem to have an excess of black and white The tools are comfortable to hold and the box everything came in is great to store in progress projects in. The bad- the instructions are WRONG. If you read the instructions and go by rounds the numbers don't add up- particularly bad on the panda project. The videos are also not very beginner friendly The pink yarn comes apart easily I didn't have anywhere near enough green yarn for the frog ): The introduction to crochet pamphlet is super lacking Overall - I would actually recommend this kit for the tools, the yarn and a project to work on. However I would highly encourage beginners to look on YouTube for more helpful beginner videos, then start tackling these once you have a feel for the basics. But make sure to read through the instructions first, because there are several where the math on the stitch count doesn't make sense.

Good for price. Great for beginners and kids that want to learn and play around. Love that it sends so many options of colors of yarn. The little carry bag is a nice touch. Everything fits inside. Lots of little extras I didn't expect to see in here. Great for a gift for children.

The items were alright but the yarn and some other tools were really bad quality. The scissors I got were broken and rusty and the yarn began to separate strand by strand.

I am learning to crochet and wanted yarn that wouldn’t split while using it and that would make it easy to identify each stitch. This yarn is wonderful and has made learning so much easier. It also comes with a little accessory kit, in a case, with safety eyes, needles, stitch markers, and much more, which I’ve already found to be really helpful! I definitely recommend.

I was trying to get something that was as close to Woobles beginner yarn as possible that was more diverse in colour and more affordable. This yarn works pretty good. You can definitely feel the drop in quality but the colours are vibrant and each skein is enough for 2-3 small sized projects. The additional kit of supplies is pretty nice to have. Again, you can feel the drop in quality but the functionality is good. Overall it could be better but for the price you pay it’s definitely worth it. I would recommend it for anyone who wants to continue within the Woobles guidelines without having to pay through the nose for yarn. This is perfect for a hobbyist crocheter but may not be the most appropriate if you’re actively selling your projects.
