Neat adapter and works as hoped for/expected...good to have on-hand as a backup to the OEM charging cord. I'm using it with a Norelco trimmer 13-1 (MG3919/50) and the adapter plug fits a little tighter (more snug) than the one that came with the trimmer but you don't have to force it in...you just feel the little extra force needed to plug it in. NOTE...the OEM plug has brass inserts in the plug holes and you get a slight click feel and the snug feel isn't as strong as with the adapter. I think the the snug/tighter feel is because the adapter holes are probably the exact same size as the charging pins in the trimmer plug and there isn't the slight "free play" area that the brass inserts allow...this may actually be a "plus" for the adapter??? Before purchasing, I confirmed the voltage on the OEM charging plug and it is 5 volts. I would purchase again in the future if/when needed and would recommend to others.

Works exactly as intended, simple and easy to travel with, especially relative to carrying around a whole extra cord. I now can carry around a couple USB C cables and charge everything with those, including my razor! Definitely worth the investment in my personal opinion.

Great find! I lost the original charger on a recent trip. The Philips OneBlade should have been designed with USB-C in the first place. Now I can use any USB charger and a standard USB-C cable and one less proprietary charger to travel with. The razor charges just the same as the original charger and in the same amount of time. The adapter is not water proof. It's small size means it can go into the bag with the razor without any worries. I leave it plugged in all the time since I don't use it the shower. It excellent value for money and would buy again.

I'm sure that when I bought my Norelco/Philips electric shaver we were not all charging 4 different USB devices every day, so I shouldn't fault N/P for not assuming recharge via USB sources back whenever that was. Still...now that I have this little adapter for my razor, it's obvious that there is zero reason to keep that charger that came with the razor. We have USB-C cables all over the house and of course a big fat battery that we carry for contingencies. Now my razor charges from any of those sources and my plan is to leave the adapter plugged into the razor and forget about the original charger. The fit is firm so I don't see any risk of it falling off. And, I can remove it and store it for travel, just in case. Razor charges quickly enough that I haven't bothered to notice how long it takes.

Although it's not included amongst the compatible shavers listed in the description, the 5V version of this USB-C adapter works well with my Philips Norelco (just Philips outside the US) travel shaver PQ888/81, which is a two-head wet/dry rotary razor with a built-in rechargeable battery. Unfortunately it uses a proprietary charging cable, with a Philips two-pin connector on the razor side and a USB-A plug on the other. It would have been nice if the shaver had a nearly universal USB-C connector instead so I wouldn't have to have to bring an extra cable along, but this small adapter plug at least allows me to have just one USB-C cable that will charge my phone, laptop, iPad, portable work light, shaver, and other accessories. Just be careful not to lose it; I wouldn't have minded if it were a bright color instead of black. The Yinke adapter will fit in the Philips leather case nestled alongside the shaver as shown, or below the shaver if you leave the rotary head cap off.
