Excellent day sack for all-round use.

Disappointed
Bag quality looks good…unfortunately im not keeping it. On the box and add, its a 65L bag + 5L day hydration pack. My first order was replaced by Amazon and both packages were incomplete. They were both missing the 5L hydration pack. The pack is 5L not the bladder. So while i was excited to get a good quality bag at a great price and bundle, the fact that both orders were incomplete made this purchase a disappointment

Bigger than I thought
I got this for a friend. Was worried based off other reviews and the photos that it would be small. I'm delighted to say it is sized nicely. I have a 65L osprey pack and the packing space between the two is sensational

Nah
Zippers were weak. Cheaply made. Surprised Bear put his name on it. Returned the item and picked up the Teton brand, which is a good value.

Not for real hikers
This bag hold stuff but if you have more then 35 pounds of gear your shoulders will turn purple and the lower back pad will rub a heat rash on your back. I’ve only used it twice because of this. First trip I thought I went to heavy but with only 30 pounds in the bag on the second trip with the same result. This isn’t good for anyone who walks far to camp.

Good backpack for 1-2 day journeys.
Initial quality: This backpack is well made, and durable. All zippers, straps, and compartments are of good quality. Storage: I consider this pack large enough for 1-2 day journeys. Water resistant: It's water resistant throughout, but not waterproof. Straps: The shoulder straps, and retaining system are cushioned, and comfortable, but the bottom of the retaining system sits a bit high. Hydration system: It's very simple, but it gets the job done, and functions well. Overall: Strictly speaking, I consider this to be a day pack, but it's sufficient for 2 days. 4 stars

Well designed, durable and comfortable large pack
I was intrigued by the Bear Grylls branding and needed a new large, backpacking pack so I figured I’d give this a shot. It’s a well made pack with an excellent adjustable harness system that should fit just about everyone when adjusted properly. I’ve had issues in the past getting the waist belts to carry the load like they’re supposed to and having the height adjustable harness completely fixed that issue. The straps are very comfortable and nicely padded with load lifter straps that make it comfortable to wear; the waist belt is also nicely padded and does it’s job shouldering the weight and I’m happy to report the pockets are actually usable - they can be zipped and unzipped one handed and large enough to fit my phone. The interior is mostly a large, open space with two velcro loops for hanging a hydration bladder which may be a problem if your bladder using a single strap in the center, it would’ve been nice if they included mounts for both styles. I’m also not the biggest fan of the pockets for the support sticks jutting into the pack space but it didn’t prove to be a big deal when packing it. I still think they would’ve looked nice hidden away with flaps at the top to remove them if desired. The sleeping bag compartment is completely separated with a zipper that can be unzipped if you’re carrying it externally or just need more height for gear and can also be accessed from the exterior. The two lid pockets are generously sized and will work well holding smaller items like flashlights, a lantern, batteries with the larger one able to fit my windbreaker. Both water bottle pockets are quite large as well, with compression straps that make them ideal for holding a tripod or similar gear as well as a water bottle. The back of the pack has another zippered pocket for odds and ends; it’s a large pocket but I’ll probably just keep my fire kit and some freeze dried meals there. Below the sleeping bag compartment is another set of straps for carrying a small tent or sleeping mat; the built-in rain cover is hidden in a pocket on the bottom of the pack. It’s a well designed pack that has a similar layout to my Kelty bag. It seems to be built fairly well also, using thicker materials than my Kelty while still remaining fairly lightweight for the size. The zippers are unbranded, they’re not the best I’ve used and can be a little rough but they’re not bad and they do feel strong. It seems like a pretty solid pack when I was mostly expecting a gimmick using the Bear Grylls branding and I’d say it competes well with other packs in the same price range.

The cage to keep this off your back is a game changer. I love it. The 30L is perfect for my things as well as my 4yr olds. I am not disappointed with this bag, it’s been great on our adventures.

La qualité du sac laisse a désiré, car après seulement 2 mois d'utilisation la couture d'une des bretelles a brisé... cependant pour le reste rien a redire le sac est très fonctionnelle ,pratique et surtout très confortable même très chargé d'équipements

Great design, poor work. After few uses a shoulder strap tore off.

When the bag arrived it was much smaller than I thought it would be. It would suit a small child or maybe a small woman I think. However it is really nicely made and it looks great and I did return it and it was no problem.
