The silicone mold has a good thickness to hold its shape well, but not so much that it’s an ordeal to remove what’s in it. The base is fairly sturdy and it stands well so long as you are careful moving it before the contents are set. The size seems ideal to me for serving a dessert type food. It’s not too big and not too small. You get a very cute cat/bunny shape once it’s finished. I recommend that you do coat the inside of the mold with either cooking oil or something similar, just so you don’t have to be as concerned about the mold not releasing well. If you plan to make anything soft/jiggly and aren’t already familiar with stuff like this, I definitely recommend practicing with jello beforehand until you figure out a method of unmolding that works best for you. That way you can get the hang of removing something very fragile before attempting it with something possibly fancier that you want to look nice.

Of course I had to buy once kids showed the viral giggly milk cat video. We use this weekly. Easy to use, durable and easy to remove as long as you spray with cooking oil first. I hope y’all make as many wonderful memories with your babies like I do with mine making things with this mold!
