I had to replace my old office chair wheels after the bearings began to get loose and the wheels started rubbing against the frame. These new wheels are a vast improvement. They roll smoothly, even over carpet, and are quiet. They function fine as they should. Easy to install after removing the old wheels (which wasn't as easy)/ The materials feel sturdy and high quality.

These roller wheels are a big improvement over the stock casters on my office chair. They roll smoothly, make almost no noise, and I don’t have to worry about scratches on my hardwood floors. Installation was fast and simple—just pulled the old ones out and snapped these in. The only downside is that they add a little extra height to the chair, so if you’re already at the top end of your desk setup you might notice the difference. Otherwise, they make the chair feel much smoother and easier to move around, and I’d still recommend them. For me the height was actually a benefit because the cylinder of my chair was making contact with the floor. After putting these wheels on, the dragging on the carpet stopped because the chair was raised about another 2 inches. Great double benefit!! Material quality seems fantastic as well and has held up for a few months so far.

These wheels have been great so far! They were extremely simple to install - just remove the old casters and snap these in. In less than 2 minutes you'll have a much smoother chair! The casters make virtually no noise. They're extremely smooth rolling. For me, most importantly, they don't cause any damage to my flooring. My chair's previous casters caused damage to my LVP flooring, which is what spurred me to seek these as an alternative. For the price, these wheels are definitely worth it. As other reviews have said, these added a little height to the chair over the original casters, but it wasn't significant (less than an inch, in my case), and it doesn't prevent me from positioning my chair under my desk.

I like that the wheels roll smoothly. I like that they are easy to clean and hard to jam up (when you have dogs, their hair and toys are hazards to wheels). I like that they are silent. My co-workers like that it raises my chair by 2.5 inches. TWO POINT FIVE INCHES. Now the chair is too tall for my old footstool. My feet barely reached the round when I sat in it before, when it was 13" high. Now it's 15.5" and my feet dangle when I sit. I have to give a bit of a hop to sit or stand. I guess once I get a taller footstool, it won't be so bad. At least the chair is still too short for them to actually like. I mean, the average lowest setting on office chairs tends to be 16", so it's still shorter than that, by a smidge. I'm retiring soon, so the chair won't be my problem after that. I only have to deal with dangling feet fr a few more months. It will be OK. I can manage it. It rolls nicely. Yeah. It rolls nicely. Good wheels.

Love these. I can glide anywhere! Definitely adds height to the chair but much better than the wheels the chairs come with. Very sturdy. On the floor mats it might squeak at first but quiets down after a bit. Really like them, easy to install and very much worth it.

What a difference these wheels make! I use a glass chair mat, and my original wheels were noisy and hard to get back onto the mat if you went off of it. I usually had to get up and lift the chair because the original wheels never wanted to just roll back up onto the surface. Once I replaced with these (which are a direct fit and easy to install), it made a significant improvement. Not only are they quieter and is the chair much easier to move, it rolls much, much smoother compared to the original wheels. I have now bought several different sets of these for my kid's desk hairs, as even without a floor mat, they seem to be much easier on the carpet. These have an 8mm shaft, which must be close to a standard, as all three have been on different chairs, and the same wheels worked for all of them. Highly recommended.
