I don’t regularly drink coffee, but I’ll reach for a cup once in a while when I desperately need a pick me up during a rough day at work. I also go on business trips pretty frequently (which can be draining), so my boss and I will carry those Korean instant coffee sticks in case we need a little boost. But those can be inconvenient at times because you need hot water to properly dissolve the powder/sugar. However, these Coffee to the Moo coffee concentrates have been so useful within the past couple of weeks during my business related travels. The coffee canister is the ultimate convenience; I can just grab it and go and simply spray the concentrate in either hot or cold water to instantly get a rich, robust cup of coffee. I’m also very health-conscious, so this product immediately caught my attention when I saw that it was infused with collagen, hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, and the like. But I was simultaneously worried because in my experience, foods that are combined with supplements usually taste really gross or almost medicinal. But I was pleasantly surprised that Coffee to the Moo somehow found a way to preserve the benefits and the rich coffee flavor without compromising on the taste. Regardless, whether you are health-conscious like me or a coffee lover in general, I think this coffee concentrate is worth trying. It’s simply convenient, tastes pretty decent, and game changing for instant coffee.

Okay, first what I liked about this product. No refrigeration needed! A big plus for me in my current living situation and the biggest reason for purchasing. Love the size of the little spray cans BUT I only got about two medium iced coffee drinks out of each canister. Not cost effective! And I like the novelty of it all. BUT, the cons of this product outnumber the pros. Firstly, the flavor is more like old, stale coffee. Doesn't have the flavor that you get in bottled concentrated coffee, just MY opinion. Don't mean to sound like a coffee snob, I just know what I like. Second con, the price is steep for the small amount and quality of what you get. Lastly, I feel it is not an enviromentally sustainable purchase. I felt quite guilty throwing those cute little spray cans away after just 2 iced coffee preps. I kind of like the novelty of the little spray cans but how long will these cans take to break down in the landfill? Will I buy them again?, probably not. I just bought two bottles of my cold brew concentrate and will probably just stick to that, even though it needs refrigeration after opening. Trade offs, right?

On it's face, the packaging seems wasteful in terms of size and over-complicated packaging. But the problem is that THE PRODUCT DOES NOT COME OUT. At first, I thought it was just supposed to be an extremely tiny amount. Then suddenly, one of the cartridges provided about 4x the amount of liquid of the previous two. I thought I must have used the first couple wrong. I reread the directions as I used the next product. Nope - THE CARTRIDGES ARE JUST DEFECTIVE. I tried two more - dribbled out a bit of condensed coffee. When shaken afterward, you can hear most of the liquid is still inside. The idea of collagen already mixed in the coffee was great, but what a failure of product, waste of coffee, waste of money and now mess in landfills to boot!
