I cook it in the microwave for two minutes and add it to taramasalata. It's delicious.

Old style treat from childhood.
Opened a tin with anticipation of roe from way back. It is a bit softer than it used to be and broke up before cooking and there was a lot of shrinkage. But still enjoyed the taste and texture.

Unable to buy in most supermarkets at present, but although this costs a little more it is worth it, love cod roe and this is excellent.

Good vitamins and no thickeners
After reading several reviews for Amanda Pressed Roe I was unsure what to do. I took a chance and placed my order. I am very happy with the Cod Roe. It cooked ok , no breaking up. The reviews from other people said it was not as good as Princes, well I think it's much better as it has not got the added thickeners. I enjoyed the taste.
