Had to re purchase this after 25 years without one. After a knee surgery I was sent home with one of these Cryo Cuffs and wow was it amazing. 25 years later and not really sure what happened to my old one I decided to get another. I wont loose this one!! works great. Just fill cooler up with ice and water and then raise it higher than your knee or body part to be cooled down. Gravity forces cold water into the cuff and when the cuff warms up just hook up the water line and lower cooler under the cuff and allow gravity to force water back into cooler. Just repeat the process as many times as you want for an ice cold cuff.

Would leave a 0, but of course it’s not an option. I’m using an air cast ice machine that a friend lent me. The images on Amazon are very misleading. This device has no electronic motor component to circulate the ice water to the pad. So essentially you are paying for a $10 glorified one gallon water cooler with a hose at the bottom for a $112 dollars. Save yourself the $90 plus dollars and get another option. By the way, if you do buy other brands on Amazon in the 100 dollar range with the motors. Plan of the hoses disconnecting if you’re a mover while you sleep. Always fun to wake up to ice cold water bath soaking your l bed in the middle of the night. Save yourself the frustration and pay for a medical grade ice machine such as the Berg brand. Aircast makes one as well but apparently it’s not this one which most definitely is not worth $112 dollars.

This was just the thing for post-surgical swelling and pain after a total knee replacement. The only drawback is that my wife was on a walker for 5 weeks and couldn't use this during the day while she was home alone because she couldn't carry it from the sink to the living room or bedroom with both hands on her walker. Other than that, it was a great purchase and we highly recommend it.
