My daughter has loved this lamp! It’s fun and does a great job be in bright enough for bedtime but not too bright.

...and when I took this out of the box, I grumbled "This doesn't look at all like the Moon, it's just a ball of lumpy plastic!" Then it got dark and I turned it on. Wow! Truly amazing! It sits on top of my center speaker above and behind the TV. I may need another to swap them out for charging times. If it makes an old astronomer satisfied for twenty bucks, it's well worth it. Update: Well I'm now the proud owner of more pieces of the Solar System, I added Saturn and Jupiter to my planet family. The moon sits behind and just above the TV and the other two are on top of my tower speakers in the corners. I love it! There are surprising details too - The North Pole of Saturn has the Hexagon-shaped cloud, which is really there, look at a Google image! And Jupiter has a nicely shaped Great Red Spot in the correct position among the well-done cloud belts. Amazing what can be done with 3D printing. Of course the rechargeable battery will crap out someday, it wouldn't be the end of the world if I just had to buy new ones. And I will. Something I want to add - part of the description says "painted". This is incorrect, nothing is painted (although the base could use...something...). All of the shading is from variations in thickness. Thanks to 3D printing. Enjoy!

Is it glows in the dark or is something that lights up well, works exactly as advertised. I am into it! I have probably 10 different globes of different types from different companies and this is one of my favorite. Great design.

Piece of crap. Straight out of the box, it lit up once (while plugged in) and quickly turned off on its own after a few seconds, and haven’t been able to turn it on again since. Total junk.

This globe, which is about 40% smaller than the one I previously had for several years before the multi-color changing LED died, is nice to look at, especially when the colors are set to slowly change which is what I prefer vs. one solid color or quick, "flash" color shifting. Other reviewers complain about the rough surface of this plastic ball. I like it as moons and other planets are hardly one smooth surface and the rough, uneven surface of this lends it a kind of authenticity. Price, under $10 during Black Friday, was great!

My Item Was Good Until I Had To Charge Today.. The Charging Port Fell Inside Of Moon Ball . I've Only Had It Two Months!. Can I Get A Replacement?..

It's just ok, the Saturn ring does not light up vividly as shown in these pictures, the ring is just solid white plastic that the light reflects on to. It is the size of a grapefruit, lights up decent and for the price it's ok. Just don't be fooled by over vivid bright ring colors in these pictures.
