Recommended for expanding Wi-Fi coverage for a home or a business
I used to have another Internet system and my main box that was hooked up to every other box was pushing out 1000 MB per second but the other routers I had hooked up to it were only able to push out 100 with this router I am getting consistently 800 to 1000 MB per second. Definitely recommend for any home trying to expand their Internet Wi-Fi coverage.

Extremely powerful - a single one of these beats any consumer mesh solution
These things are extremely powerful. After messing around with mesh network equipment for years (think high-end Orbi), there's just no comparison: a single one of these will easily replace a $1,000 mesh network. Don't mess with mesh? You will need to establish a Unifi setup before adopting one of these, though, so don't just buy one and expect to be able to plug it into your (non-Unifi) router.

Just buy it already!
Offers the same great range and options one would expect with the addition of clean 6GHz spectrum. It's a no brainer. I have been running it for months and not disappointed!

Excellent coverage and control, but runs hot
I purchased five of the Ubiquiti UniFi U7 Pro Max access points to cover my home, which has roughly 5,000 square feet of living space plus a large garage with numerous smart devices. Overall, I’ve been very happy with the system’s performance and infrastructure. Coverage has been excellent, and the units integrate very well with my Ubiquiti Dream Machine. The level of control and customization is a big plus—there are extensive settings available, and the coverage area is very comprehensive. All access points are hardwired via Ethernet (not meshed), and the system has been stable. Speed-wise, I’m not always seeing the “wow” speeds I expected from my internet service. Depending on proximity, devices sometimes feel either too close or too far from an access point, though overall performance is still strong and reliable. One thing to be aware of: these units do not include PoE injectors, which isn’t immediately obvious. I had to purchase them separately. I’d strongly recommend using a PoE switch instead so you don’t need injectors at every location. The biggest downside is heat. These access points get very hot—borderline “don’t touch the metal base” hot—especially when running in higher performance modes. I’m not concerned about safety, but it’s something to be aware of when mounting. Also, the blue status light is extremely bright in dark rooms (like bedrooms). I did eventually find the setting to disable it, but it’s worth noting. That said, real-world performance has been excellent. All of my 4K cameras and connected devices are getting strong, consistent signal throughout the property with all five units working together. Overall, this is a powerful, well-performing system with great coverage and flexibility. A few design and accessory considerations keep it from being five stars, but I would still recommend it for anyone building a serious home network.

Make sure you have the right PoE power source
I finally upgraded an AC Pro to one of these. I got a higher quality PoE injector to make sure 2.5gbps could pass through. However it would constantly disconnect. I went back to my previous adapter and got the same problem and an error. If you get this, toggle the PoE compatibility to reduce power. I got the PoE++ adapter from Unifi and now I can turn compatibility off and max power on all bands and it's very stable without error. Very easy to mount and has a fan to keep it cool.

Not for Google!!
I'm sure there's a way to get this thing to work with Google fiber, but for the hours required to get it to work, it's not worth it. At all. It's incredibly complicated to setup unless you pay extra for some software fixes.

Arrived quickly, appears to be in excellent condition, only reason for less than 5 stars is there seems to be a rubber gasket missing... but I have an old one that seems to fit
