Fits the iPad 13 like a glove.
If you are looking for a solid case to protect your iPad with a very comfortable keyboard, then look no further. It is a bit heavier than I expected, but my iPad is used much like a small compact computer, so this is a great detachable keyboard. Love the backlight on the keys, and the track pad is really nice. You can even switch the keyboard around and it is completely out of the way if you just want to use the tablet. Love it!

Avoid this product.
Note that Amazon indicates that this product has a high return rate, which is very understandable. Don’t even bother getting it and bypass the return process. We’ve used Logitech keyboards for iPads for over 10 years. We have never had an issue with them until now.The keyboard regularly stops inputting information on the iPad. You will be typing along and look back at what you have written and there are misspelled words, since certain letters are missing. The trackpad will lock up the screen, again, regularly, you can no longer move the screen with your finger OR the trackpad in the active application.. The only thing you can do is move the trackpad to the bottom and click out of the current app.Sometimes, when you “close” the keyboard, it activates the Do Not Disturb - which, if you have multiple devices, puts them ALL in DND. I will be waiting for a call, and it won’t show on my phone, because THIS keyboard put my account in DND.Very poor quality materials and workmanship. At three months the rubber frame on the bottom that holds the iPad in place started separating from the back (stand) of the keyboard. For about a week, that was OK, but the separation kept getting bigger.THEN the left side started separating.I contacted customer service and requested a refund. They would not honor that, they had me jump through a number of hoops (and asked for the same information, proof of purchase, invoice (same thing), name and shipping address) at least three (3) different times. Finally received a new one.Still locks and misses inputting characters and the trackpad locks the screen. The ONLY time I use the trackpad is when I have to quit out of an application because this device had locked the screen. For $229 if would expect a much, much better product.Logitech should be ashamed of charging that for this very poorly made and functioning product.

I highly recommend. So happy with mine.
I am so happy with this purchase. I had a previous version of this with a previous iPad and I just updated to a new iPad and therefore purchased the updated version of this. The one I had before was terrific and the new one is even better. The only thing I wish, is like the older model, you could fold the keyboard portion in half, but the old one didn't have a trackpad. I highly recommend. I'm super happy with mine.

Already Broken
Although it seemed like this was a good keyboard, a key already broke off with only a month of use. Instead of replacing the keyboard, Logitech is having us jump through hoops and send back for them to verify. My college student will now need a new keyboard for her iPad during all this back and forth. I will not be buying a logitech keyboard again after this experience and will go find another product to replace this short-lived keyboard. I recommend finding a different brand.

Not great for pencil users
Its well constructed but a bit of an overkill if you are mainly a pencil user. I opted instead for a non-keyboard cover plus a compact foldable keyboard with built in mouse pad. $30 and a much better flexible solution IMO.

good fit, but frustrating when remoting to a PC from ipad.
Can't type ESC or F12 without some weird settings. So if you use your ipad for remote access to a Windows PC, you'll have trouble typing an ESC or F12 (Save As, in Word). Sheesh! Also it looks like Ctrl is "sticky" so if you mistakenly tap Ctrl without typing another letter simultaneously, then every dang letter that you type will be interpreted as a Control! So you're typing away in Emacs, tap Ctrl for some reason, then continue "typing" in emacs you'll see your cursor flashing all over the place, deleting and restoring your text ... frustrating and dangerous!
