I used these at work and once I retired i bought my own for anything noise! Cutting grass, wood worker, chain sawing etc... Great if you have hearing aids!! If you have to put muffs on then off several times, these work fantastic over in the ear corded ear plugs, that fall on the ground etc... Great product

Comfortable fit and noise reduction

I got these along with my new Sthil 800x Magnum backpack blower as it is loud as a dirt bike any my ear plugs were not cutting it. As others, I wear a stupid sun hat so my over-the-head ones would not work. **Updated Review** I am updating this to 4 stars as I was able to figure out how to use the strap which goes over the top of your head. You have to disassemble the ear part then close the strap in. I can now wear them without the muffs falling out of place which was driving me nuts and not providing appropriate hearing protection. See attached pics. This still isn't a great design, but it will work. A better design would be to have a place to attach the strap though this seems to be holding in place. **Original Review** They are more comfortable than the over-the-head ones but unfortunately they seem to slip out of place when I am mowing the lawn. If I stand/sit still they are fine, but if I turn my head (which you have to do when using a rider mower) they tend to lose the "seal" and then become an echo chamber. I find I am constantly repositioning them to provide protection. Also, they don't seem to provide as much protection as I would expect. I also wear in-ear plugs with these and I still find that my tinnitus acts up after using the mower or backpack blower. Not as bad as the ear plugs alone, but I'm not sure how this would work using all day every day. They seem well built, but seem to need a strap which goes over the head to keep them in place. I believe they come with a velcro strip but I threw away the box and do not see any way to attach it. This will due until I can find a better pair.

I am a machinist, in a shop that employs over 100 people. Between the lathes, VMC's , Milling machines, air tools, and air blow-offs, it is a very noisy place. I do not like the ear plugs that are provided so I invested in these. They are very comfortable. I don't care for the over the head style, so these really fit the bill.... This is the third pair I have purchased over the past 7 years. I keep one pair in my garage, and one pair at work. The only issue I have had with them is that the ear cups are a vinyl material that after years of use start to split, then they become uncomfortable. I would recommend these for shooting ranges, races, or any activity with loud noise. Once you have hearing loss it never comes back...

The ear protectors are of excellent quality and function. They're perfect for mowing and using other small engine equipment. The behind-the-neck style allows the wearing of a sombrero style hat while working in the sun. My AirPods Pro even fit inside the protectors so I can still hear notifications or listen to music.

I have to wear a big brimmed hat due to a tendency toward skin cancer. I used to have to jury rig something that would let me wear the hat and still have ear protection. Never worked well. These are great. Comfortable and block out a lot of mower noise. They also let me wear my ridiculous hat without a problem

Good quality. Very comfortable.

The noise cancellation is excellent. Problem with for me. Much too tight. Actually hurts after a while.

Provide a good insulation, and is fitting really good and tight, but the only thing is that you have to be worn all time, or you have to carry on your hands when is not required anymore.

Die Ohrenschützer sitzen nicht besonders gut bei mir. Wenn man schwitzt, rutschen sie ein wenig nach unten sodass sie am Rand der Ohren drücken. Nach einiger Zeit nicht mehr aushaltbar, es tut richtig weh. Der Schallschutz wird auch schlechter wenn sie rutschen. Man kann die Ohrenschützer verkehrt herum aufsetzen, sodass der Bügel nicht im Nacken ist, sondern oben am Kopf wie bei normalen Schützern. Der Schallschutz ist so noch besser, rutschen tut nix mehr, allerdings ist der Metallbügel auch nach einiger Zeit sehr unbequem am Kopf. Der Schallschutz an sich ist recht gut, die Passform macht das aber zunichte. Evtl für sehr große Personen mit dickem Nacken besser passend. Artikel kommt aus den USA, Lieferzeit ist 2-3 Wochen.

Blocks the sound really well and fits comfortably on small to medium build people. Value for money could be better but you do pay for a nice 3M product in the end.

The band behind the head is fantastic, never buy another over the head type, doesn't interfere with a face shield or hat. everyone should have at least one of this type. save your ears and your eyes with a face shield. This type is about impossible to find in regular stores.
