Terrible I cannot say anything positive about this purchase, I have ordered alot of items from Amazon but this particular item is the worst! Assembly would be easy if the holes matched the instructions, which it doesnt, holes are missing in drawers, none of the assembling of this product is worth giving a good rating at all! It is not worth returning because it will cost me an arm and a leg if I try, but dont buy this product unless you dont care about how the drawers will fit or not fit at all. Holes are not matched to the planogram and you have to make up your own plan of assembly. Very Unhappy with this purchase

This is a good example of a design that is sturdy, looks good, and is easy to assemble. Every part was numbered and the directions were very clear. The stand came with a screwdriver, allen wrench, the only 2 tools needed to assemble it. It even came with extras of the small fasteners, screws, and dowels, which was good since one item went onto the floor, never to be seen again. Each piece is made of particle board covered with a matte black laminate, and all parts came well packed and undamaged. The unit itself is sturdy and looks good. The lower vertical slots hold albums, but are not quite tall enough to hold boxed sets. The upper compartment is a few inches short of an album, so they cannot stand, but can be stored horizintally or used for other purposes. There is a hole in the back of the top compartment if you want to run a wire from that shelf to the top. I am using the stand to hold a Rega turntable and found few other offerings wide enough for the 18 inch wide base.

Received my package, it is like it came out of a wood chipper. Damage everywhere. Sent back, still not refunded... currently looking into it.
