Mila Prostyle uPVC Wood Heavy Duty Engineered Post Box, 6 Colours

It looks very smart and modern. It feels good and sturdy. It was also very easy to fit. I would happily buy another one if needed. My old letter box was a horrible cheap looking brass item. This has lifted the look of the door and has made it feel brand new. The old one was 10 inches and this is 12 inches so I did need to cut an inch wider either side of the letter hole. Very easy to do with a saw. And the fixing holes were very easy to make with a drill. I can't comment on how well it will last but it feels like a high quality item and the finish looks top quality.

Wow. Couldn’t believe what is inside the box as it was so heavy. Compared to the one installed by builders 6 years ago it’s just amazing, the old one weighs nothing. Well the Mila did very good job, it’s strong and really heavy with beautiful chrome finish. Came with foam seal for outside part and two sets of screws. I didn’t managed to fit it straight away as screw pillars are so chunky that original cut out was tat too small by a mill or so, little dremel did job in 5 seconds. Once on the door it’s stunning premium looking post box. To other comments that finish failed within a year etc. There are instructions how to keep it in pristine condition and I bet you no one ever wiped or greased the box. I’m happy with the purchase, it’s pricey but worth that extra money

The front flap had broken on my previous letterbox, so I spent a chunk of time looking up different letterboxes and settled on this one. Despite it being more expensive than most of the others, this seemed like a high quality one. It's pretty windy where I live so I wanted to make sure whatever I got would keep the wind out. On arrival I was impressed by the weight of the item and could tell it was going to be sturdy. In theory this letterbox is easy to fit, however I had two issues: 1. The location of the screw points were slightly wider than my previous letterbox. My door is wooden so I was able to increase the size of the existing cutouts easily enough with a round file. 2. My main problem - this letterbox comes with 2 sizes of screw, and the short ones were too short and long ones too long. I hunted high and low in the DIY stores for a suitable mid-way screw but found nothing (the people at Screwfix were stumped too!). In the end I had to saw the long ones down by about a centimetre. Once I got over the above issues the letterbox fitted well and looks great. The flap is on the heavy side but that's what I wanted. It opens nice and high too so it should be easy for the postie.

My old door handle and letterbox were looking a little tired so I decided to replace them both in an effort to improve on appearance. I did a fair bit of looking around before choosing this letterbox from Mila, partly because it had already got a lot of positive reviews from other users. Fitting the letterbox was simple and didn't take long, with the result being a much improved look for my front door. It has a very smart, very shiny metal door on both the inside and outside of the door and I like the attention to detail such as a rubber stop to quieten the sound of the letterbox closing. I replaced the door handle at the same time and chose this product which complements it perfectly Yale Locks PPVCRHPC PVCu Retro Door Handle Polished - Chrome Finish . Together they have transformed the look of my door and I am very pleased with their appearance and quality.

Quite expensive but a really decent quality that looks the part and seems like it will last. Easy to fit (although had a second person to help) and fitted perfectly as a direct replacement for a flimsy existing one that had a bit broken off the back. Doesn't seem to let any drafts in. Hope I will be this pleased with it in a week/month/year.

Originally I requested a return because it’s bigger than it states. Then I changed my mind and cut the letterbox to fit it. It’s very well made, it’s heavy and it’s got a high polish on the chrome. Delivery was fast and apart from the size being a bit on the large side I cannot fault it. Looks good. I did get annoyed that I was asked for feedback and a review before I’d even opened it properly but I think this is the case with many sellers. They want positive feedback and they want it straight away 🙈.

A good price and fast delivery for this well protected, heavy duty letterbox that was very easy to remove the old and fit the new letterbox in the my Composite Upvc Door. I do hope the chrome outer surface lasts longer than the old letterbox which was just 4 years. Tips on keeping in good condition with monthly maintenance are included.

Excellent product that looks good, feels robust and has really cut down drafts from the door. A simple job to connect and tighten the two bolts took longer than expected as I found it quite difficult to locate the nuts with the bolts. I ended upfabricating a couple of small tubes out of plastic, placed them over the nuts and the bolts threaded easily.
