2024 Dungeon Master's Screen (Dungeons & Dragons DM Accessories)

Very sturdy and beautiful art

It got this as soon as the 2024 rules came out and it has been great for being a quick resource. There are some minor rules changes and it is good to check some of the more commonly used mechanics and rules. Simple and does the job. Just what you want.

I think this is the best WotC DM screen I've seen in 10 years. Font is good size, and the tables they put on it are just what I like. Player side artwork is pretty boring but I'm the DM so IDGAF. That said, I wish they'd make them 2-sided, with tables useful for players on their side. Still...2 thumbs up

The art is SO COOL! It wasn't very expensive but feels premium. It's not heavy, but it feels solid if that makes sense. I've been clipping stuff to it with alligator clips and they've not been marking it though I didn't leave them on say overnight. You can also just fold one panel or one side or fold it open so you get half the art and just clip stuff to it or use sticky tack. It's like 8.5x11ish so perfect to print in landscape and attach stuff!

Things I liked 1. The text looks great and easy to read. 2. The build quality is great. 3. The information is well laid out 4. Landscape printing is great to not hide the DM when sitting down. Thing I did not like 1. The information is good for beginner DMs not so much for more experienced DMs 2. The pooch it comes in is nice addition but no very sturdy. 3. The art work is not to my style but art is subjective. I would totally recommend this for new DMs but maybe wait for another 5.5E one if you are more experienced. The art work is bold and seems to be well liked. The landscape is great for hiding those minis but not the DM. Overall great product well worth the money.

For the price, this DM screen is excellent. I endorse the product, but I also want to address a few common complaints I saw in the reviews, since they almost discouraged me from making a purchase. The first and most common criticism I saw related to the art style. I fully understand that this is subjective, however, the style very closely matches that of the D&D 2024 books. If I had asked a talented artist to create a mural based on the style of those books, I couldn't have asked for much better than the outside of this screen. Like the style or not, if you're looking for something that fits the aesthetic of the 2024 rulebooks, this is it. The second complaint I saw most often was that the DM content was "too simple." I know this will vary based on preference as well, but as a DM/GM who runs several different systems, the "simple" stuff is what I want represented behind the screen. I understand that some people may have all of the conditions memorized, or know exactly which scenarios call for which skill checks, but when you're bouncing from one game system to another, I think it's tremendously helpful to have all of that spelled out for you in one place. For that reason, I think this screen is particularly useful for newer DM's, and for DM's like me who are always jumping around between systems. Long story short: this screen is fairly priced, it fits the aesthetic of D&D 2024, and it has all the rule essentials I would want as a DM. Very happy with my purchase.

I bought this as a gift for my husband as both he and I are huge TTRPG enthusiasts. He loved it. The package has a few bruises here and there. But the screen itself is gorgeous. The price may feel a bit high but then all D&D merchandise are costly. One drawback is it takes months to arrive So plan well in advance if you want to give it as a gift.
