Portable Air Conditioner Hose Connector for Both 5.1"/5.9" Exhasut Vent Hoses with Clockwise & Counter Clockwise Threads, Universal Mobile AC Unit Vent Hose Coupler Coupling Extension

I use this to connect my old 5.1" AC duct to my new AC with a 5.9" duct. I had to remove the existing connectors on the ends of the new and old ducts before attaching the adapter. Then I screwed the 2 ducts into the adapter. I've been running the AC all afternoon with no issues. The adapter stays connected and there is no air escaping from the adapter. Trust me, I'm not the least bit mechanically inclined but I got it to work just fine.

Great for adapting two hoses. The ring in the middle allows you to have something to hold onto, if the hoses are not cooperating. The ring is also helps to provide a guide for applying duct tape. It worked so well, I bought two (one for intake and one for exhaust.

Connections fit well. Secured it with aluminum tape for extra security.

Worked well to connect a hose installed from my previous portable AC unit to the one that came with the new new AC unit. The one side went on easily first try but the other end took a bit more time as with the one side on the positioning was at a more difficult angle.

Just what I needed and it works.

Only kind of worked. The one that goes over the tubes works much better, but I can’t find it—so bought this as a replacement. We’ve had to add duct tape to keep air from escaping the connection. It’s solid plastic, very hard to install, and absolutely not worth a dime.
