Great but pair it with Amazon Fire TV Cube!
Price is really good, it's slow but that's on purpose to make it more affordable. I recommend pairing it with an Amazon Fire TV Cube. This will make it a lot faster + allow you to use maximum resolution. No complaints at all.

Great Smart TV for the Price
The TCL TV works great. The picture is sharp, the sound is good, and the Smart system is fast and easy to use. It sets up in just a few minutes and works smoothly. Very satisfied with the purchase.

Think Twice Before Purchasing This TV
I have owed this TV, and watched it daily, for five months now. I can honestly say I regret purchasing it. There are so many negative traits, I don’t know where to start. It is slow. Sometimes it can take up to 30 seconds to change the channel, or to switch apps, or to even stop playback on a streaming show. It has many glitches… for example, sometimes when I am playing PS5, the screen will just go to black, it will still have audio, but the screen will be completely dark and I I’ll have to relaunch the system to fix it. On the home screen, there is an option to continue watching a show where you left off, but it doesn’t work correctly, and it will start the show on some past episode that you already watched, and you have to go through the hassle of going back to the menu to find the correct show, which since this TV is so clunky, is a real pain in the butt. Speaking of the home screen, it is one big, annoying advertisement for Amazon. Also, this TV does not display old TV shows properly. Any show from the 1980s or earlier, before the advent of widescreen technology, will appear crushed on the screen, making it impossible to enjoy. I actually talked to TCL technical support about this, and they are aware of it, but offered no solutions. Also, you cannot download the Spectrum app on this TV. Because for some reason, Amazon considers Spectrum a competitor they won’t allow you to download their app, so if you use the app to watch spectrum TV, you’re out of luck. How pathetic is that? It’s not enough that Amazon makes $1 billion a day, they have to crush the competitors too. Like allowing people to watch a. competitor’s app with somehow affect their bottom line. Ridiculous. It does have a nice picture, but the sound is average at best, and sometimes I have to turn the volume up to above 70 to hear the dialogue, depending on the app I am using. The really interesting thing is I also own a 55 inch TCL TV with a Roku operating system, and it is great. So IMO the issue is not with the manufacturer, TCL, but with the operating system, Fire TV. I would highly discourage anyone from purchasing any TV with the Fire TV operating system, and in particular this TV.

An Excellent TV For The Money!
I always liked TCL style flat screen TVs. I now am the proud owner of TWO of these same TVs and the picture is awesome! The User Interface is awesome! The setup is easy peasy lemony squeezy! The BEST part? It doesn't break the bank! I got this 55 inch beauty with a crisp clear screen that looks like you can reach right into it, as if it was a window, for less than $300 after taxes! Even the remote is awesome, as it has a microphone and Alexa services built right into the device itself. You simply can't go wrong. Once it gets here, the FREE unboxing and delivery to the room of choice allows you to evaluate the condition of your TV and if something is wrong or broken, you can refuse the shipment and it will be taken back for a refund or an exchange. No questions asked. We have had the first one for a year now. This newer one is the same generation, but still brand new in the box that has never been opened. Your money is not badly spent here, it's worth every penny for what you get, and do you get a LOT of good stuff! Yes, it has a VESA pattern on the back for stand mounting, as my older 55 that we had since 2018 just died, so we got this one and for only a quarter of what we paid in 2018! My next one I'm saving for will be the 75 inch beauty for my very large master bedroom, which will only take me about 4 months to save for! Yippee! After that, our TV needs will be fully met! Happy House, Happy Spouse!

Big TV, big value, solid winner!
It’s big, bad, and beautiful. Why in the world would anyone spend more than this on a TV when this thing is simply amazing. I read every review on Amazon on this TV before I purchased it. Laggy remote and interface, lack of Xfinity apps.. you name it. Does it take a half second from pressing a button on the remote to translate to the TV- yes definitely. The missing Xfinity app- it’s just in the App Store to download just not preinstalled. Easy. TV was delivered fast by two nice guys in a big Amazon truck on a Saturday. They simply asked where should we put it. I didn’t select any kind of installation or unboxing. This thing in the box is gigantic, but me and my 12 year old lifted that big box with ease. No damaged packaging, brand new not a returned unit, not a scratch on the box. The packing on this is great, for those worried about it getting shipped, unless you dropped it off the truck, I would trust delivery. It took longer to unbox simply due to size than hooking up. Had issues with my router blocking the connection to Amazon to update, but once I figured that out TV updated itself then I linked to my account. I also purchased the bundle with the matching TCL 2.1 soundbar and that was plug and play out of the box with this TV. Installed the missing apps that I had on my last Roku TV, hooked up Xbox, which was also automatically detected and plug and play, and done. Color out of the box was perfect for me. The TV with auto switch to the best possible setting for whatever source is feeding it. Some Amazon and Netflix shows were Dolby Atmos, some not. TV sensed that and just adjusted. Clarity and brightness is superb. Xbox games are fluid and colorful as expected. The size is a monster compared to our older 55” TCL Roku TV. Needed a larger stand as the legs are far wider than the 55”. Like I said, I’m not sure why you would need a $2,000 TV, this does ball that at a fraction of the price. Lastly since it’s Fire TV I get things like my Amazon Music app which thumps with the 2.1 soundbar’s subwoofer. You get Alexa- which now my Echo dots around the house can control the TV. Is awesome. Been buying TCL TV’s for years with no issues. We have 3 in the house. I would recommend this to anyone.
