East to install, easy to set up, excellent customer service
This tracker arrived promptly and was very easy to install in my car. I changed the terminals on the wiring loom for crimp ring terminals to suit the hidden location where I installed it.Once I'd connected it, I took a 10-minute drive then registered it online, which showed that it had become active immediately. Note, however, that this model does not have the two indicator LEDs described in the supplied setup leaflet for the FMT100.The app was unavailable on Google Play at the time, but a call to Customer Services soon sorted that out and I received an email link to download it. Once the app was installed, it worked perfectly and gives me various setup options, detailed tracking, geofencing options, battery voltage reports etc.Customer Services even called me back next day to make sure I was happy and that everything was working OK.It's a great bit of kit and I give it 5 stars because of the quality of Customer Services, even though the instruction leaflet was for an earlier model and the app wasn't immediately available on Google Play.

Easy to install, reliable accurate reporting, feels trustworthy
We got this tracker because you can hard-wire it into the vehicle (no need to keep on charging it from usb or anything like that). When it came we tried it for 2 weeks using the free tracking period to see if it met our needs.OH wired it to the battery which is basically just the two wires straight onto it, he says it would be good to have longer wires but if you are hiding it in the engine bay, they may be long enough..You could have this under the vehicle as it has a reasonable waterproof rating and a good amount of dust particle protection.I set up the app and registered the tracker to it , it was a little confusing at first as I tried to input its codes but then realised that the app gives you a space to put them but has a 'dummy code' written into the spaces so while I was trying to input the 'provided' code on it, it was expecting the real code from the card included with the tracker. (it was just my mad moment). Once that was sorted, it was a doddle. You can add multiple trackers to the same app so if you have several cars, you can identify them by number plate etc.We have been away two weekends so were able to checkout what was being sent to the phone app and it is very accurate.I like how it reports 'parked' or' moving' and there is a map so you can see pretty well where it is in either scenario..There is a speed indicator to show current speed so it could be a handy thing to have if you are lending your car to a family member (peace of mind if they have just passed their test). At time of writing the van is sitting on the drive and the map shows it right outside our houseTwo weeks down the line and it is working perfectly.OH bought some more wire so that we can have it more out of sight as our battery is not under the bonnet and quite easy to access inside the van.The tracker was disconnected for about 2 hours while he added in the longer wires and kept all its information in its small back up battery so there was no need to set it up all over again.I have just bought the pay as you go 12 month subscription which is £59.99 and was able to pay using paypal. You can't use a different sim, it must be the one that comes with it but why you would want to put a different one in anyway is a puzzle as the subscription price seems very good.So glad we went for this model.Trustworthy payment options, good communications from companyHighly recommended, get it you wont regret it.

Easy to fit and very capable
Less than 5 minutes to install once I'd found a suitable spanner for my car battery. Online setup was pretty easy too. Surprised at what this little box can do, not only monitoring your car's location at all times, but reporting hard acceleration and periodically speed too. If you were not the only driver of your car and wanted to keep check on how others were treating it, this would be great.Reports show details of every journey, both as text and points on a map. Geofencing and low battery alerts come through as emails.Best used via the website on a computer rather than the phone app. Support for exporting data in numerous formats. Clearly this has been designed for business use before being sold to private customers, and that's no bad thing when it comes to thorough reporting.Only downsides are that the website/app features aren't particularly well documented (I believe there are videos) and I couldn't get the POI functionality to work.Teltonoka hardware, which is a reputable brand when it comes to commercial grade cellular modems and routers. I have used them professionally before and they've always been very good quality and reliable.

Easy to set up good value
Simple to set up and install. As they say no skills needed. Appears to get satellite signals and gsm signals quite well even with it hidden in the depths of my van. Connected to the leisure battery so if the main battery is disconnected there is no power issues even though it has its own battery. The unit is small so easy to hide behind a panel. Two lights show its connection status. Registering the unit was simple to do and quite painless, only took a few minutes after a short drive. The phone app is nicely laid out but is missing a manual. Luckily I know what I am doing with this type of product having worked with the manufacturer in the past. I think it’s a bit lazy and poor not to have a manual as some people may struggle to get the best out of the app. Price wise it’s good value and the monthly subs are very reasonable I would definitely recommend this tracker for your vehicle. The geofence facility is a must if you want to know if your vehicle has moved. Includes speed alerts poor driving etc. a good way to keep an eye on what’s your vehicle is doing for instances when the garage is servicing it or your kids have borrowed it.
