I ordered this as a gift but it came too late...but THAT was OK!!! I kept it and I LOVE IT! It has interior measurement markings which is great, but...what I REALLY LOVE is the soft front edge...you can bend it to clean out the last drop of your soup or stew or whatever you are ladling out! I love that it has a high heat tolerance too. My new favorite cooking tool! I have it propped up on a little plastic storage container that has a real red lid, so you can see the shade of red the ladle is, it is a beautiful bright cherry red. The handle is firm, I'm thinking this will last a lifetime! I am SO glad I got to keep this! I would REALLY suggest this if you are looking for a GREAT ladle! "GIR" stands for get it right, and they did!

This ladle is amazing! Like ok it's just a ladle calm down but it's really the best! It's a solid piece of silicone so heat resistant and no weird crevices for bacteria to hide in. The scoop part is the absolute perfect firmness where it's strong enough to hold a heaping portion of meaty stew without spilling. But the edge is soft enough that you can easily get into every crevice of the pot and leave no soup behind. It doesn't have a little spout shape but I didn't have any trouble pouring tomato soup without making a mess so I don't think that's a problem. It's also easy to clean by hand or in the dishwasher. My parents used to have a le cruset ladle that was nylon plastic or whatever with a single silicone edge. It worked great and I was going to buy one for myself but balked at spending $30 on a ladle. I bought this one instead and it's definitely better and for less than half the price. Also their Le cruset one broke at the seam between the silicone and nylon so I'll be recommending this to them as it's replacement.

This ladle is a standout in my kitchen. The built-in measuring lines are such a clever and convenient feature—they make portioning soups, sauces, and batters super easy without needing a separate measuring cup. It’s something I didn’t know I needed until I had it! The silicone feels incredibly durable but still flexible enough to scrape the bottom and sides of pots. I also love the color—it matches perfectly with my other GIR utensils and looks great on the counter. I’ve come to really trust this brand and would happily repurchase more from their line. The only thing I wish it had was a little hook or notch on the handle so I could rest it on the edge of the pot without it sliding in. But even without that, it’s one of my favorite utensils. Highly recommend!

Love the size of this ladle and that the "bowl" is actually marked with volume amounts. The ladle is much thinner/flimsier than expected. It works great for soups, but not as well for those heartier stews or chili.

The flexible but sturdy sides allows you to scoop that last bit of tasty stew out of the pot!

I wasn't sure I would like it when I discovered how flexible it was, but when I discovered it scoops out EVERYTHING in the pot I think it is amazing and I wish I bought one years ago.

Estoy decepcionada. Leí muchas reseñas buenas pero no lo puedo recomendar por el olor de plastico. Lo he usado durante unos meses y anque lo lavo bien queda este olor feo. Tengo meido que esta echando quimicos en mi comida.

I love this laddie. Great for all my pots. Won't wreck surfaces. Love that when you get to the last bit of soup in the pot it acts like a spatula, bends and scoops it up. Would recommend to anyone and everyone!!

Great ladle. The soft silicone makes a good spatula - great for keeping soup and sauce off the side of the pot and the measuring markers come in handy sometimes. Has held up to repeated use. No complaints.
