Well built and works well in my application. I think it will give me significant extra strength and it went on pretty easy with my DV8 spec bumper However, if you were to use the stock bumper (and stock nut plate) this thing wont clear the nut plate. you'll have to trim. In fact, i thought i would have to do that with my DV8 bumper but it turns out the stock nut plate was not reused. So if you're buying this to reinforce your stock stuff ahead of mounting a winch (for the modular bumper for example), you'll need to remove the entire skinny center portion of the stock nut plate. Directions should be adjusted to account for this.

JUNK!!! don't waste your time and money. Bronco is torn apart to install, the instructions are not clear, no way to install properly without modification. Mounting bracket won't fit back in place once the gusset are installed per the directions. UPDATE: As another had mentioned, this gusset is not intended for OEM bumper, it's built for ADD custom bumper. It will not fit with the oem mounting bracket for the Bronco. Very frustrating!! Seller is terrible - if I retuen these even though they were in accurately described, they would charge a restocking fee. Avoid this seller at all costs!!!

Although not in the product description, ADD's customer service told me today that they are designed specifically to work with ADD's bumpers not others. My problems arose today while installing these gussets on a Ford 2023 Bronco, Badlands edition with the Capable bumper. My bumper attachment plates are backed by nut plates. I suspect most of the other Ford Gen6 Bronco OEM bumpers have a similar setup. The nut plates have nuts welded to them for the bumper bolts. These plates are held in place with a locating pin and a plastic nut. This makes installing the bumper mounting bolts easy. On some bumpers, it would be difficult, perhaps impossible, to install the bumper bolts without this nut plate because of limited access to this area on the back of the bumper mounting brackets. The ADD gussets do not fit on the frame horns with these nut plates. This necessitates modifying them by removing the mid-section of the nut plates or discarding them and using a straight bolt through, nuts, and washers. With my Capable bumper, this made bumper reinstallation very difficult. I did not ask to return them because I had my Bronco's front disassembled for installation of the Buckle Up Bronco winch mounting plate. I did not want to put everything back together then start over when I got different frame horn gussets. I forged ahead and modified the nut plates. That was a mistake.
