They look inedible
I concur with another reviewer. They have a black colour to the pieces. Although I am sure they are safe to eat, you would not want to serve them to friends or family. Not one of Purima’s photos show this black colour. Also I wrote to the company about this but surprisingly received no reply. In future I will buy walnut halves, but not from this company
