No they are most definitely not! I ordered the kit, and tips that Came with the kit we’re amazing! I’ve recently ordered these based on the fact that you stated they are the same exact ones because I ran out of my most used sizes. the difference is unreal! These are flimsy paper thin and weak they basically popped off on a daily basis! It took me three times longer to do my nails because I had to do acrylic over them because they were so thin and disgusting!

can you use this for gel x?

Yep, any nail glue, instant dry or UV cured, will work under these tips!

Do you have to file the inside of the nail base?

Dear, Application for False Nail Glues Set 1.Gently buff the surface of each nail for proper adhesion. 2.Cleanse each nail surface with cleanser to remove any excess oil. 3.Find the correct size for each of your nails 4.Apply thin layer of glue to nails. 5.Place the nail at a 45 degree angle and gently press down on your nail for 5 seconds. 6.Trim and Shape Nails. Can you remove these nails with acetone? Or how do you remove them?

I believe you can, since they are placed on with nail glue. I actually washed my hands in warm soapy water then squeezed them a little after a week of wearing them and they popped right off.
