I was looking for a single throttle cable for my sons pw50 , we premix the fuel & oil so didn't need the extra cable that would normally actuate the oil pump, just having it tied up caused the throttle to act a bit janky so this cured it 100% 🤌

I discovered that the original throttle cable on my 1975 Honda CB125 had frayed inside of the throttle housing and was hanging on by only 2 strands. Then, I discovered that replacement cables are no longer available (OEM or aftermarket). I began looking to generic throttle cables, but finding one the appropriate size with the appropriate ends is difficult. I knew that my original cable was 39 inches long, but the difference between the cable length and the sheath/sleeve length is important too, and that measurement is rarely cited. After a couple of random purchases (that ended up being too long), I tried this cable and it is PERFECT. If it helps anyone, I pulled the cable as far out of the non-elbowed end as I could, and measured from the edge of the sleeve to the base of the little "nub" that goes into the carburetor and it measured to 91.88 mm (photo of measurement attached).

I was a little concerned as I didn't feel my measurements of my stock cable matched with what other reviewers had stated of this cable. However, this appears to be a perfect fit on my 1980 CB125S. Throttle now snaps back very quickly and feels much better than the 41 year old OEM unit. I do want to note that I have literally just fitted this to the bike and cannot speak to its long term reliability or its usability on road.

Used on a 1978 Honda CM185T, It was a little short and required re-routing but no one sells the original so I was happy that it worked.
