Thumbs Extended in the Upward Position
Listen up, folks. I’ve just acquired the 4-in-1 Plant Soil Moisture Meter, and let me tell you, it’s a game-changer. If you’re not measuring moisture in your soil, you’re just guessing—and guessing is for people who don’t like meat or woodworking. This meter comes with a wireless range of 230 feet, which means I can monitor my garden from the comfort of my workshop. No need to trudge through the mud like some kind of amateur. It’s equipped with a battery, so you don’t have to mess around with solar power or any other hippie nonsense. Just pop in the battery and get to work. The four functions are straightforward: moisture, light, temperature, and pH. This is all you need to keep your plants happy. You want to know when your soil is dry enough to resemble a desert or if it’s so wet it could host an amphibian convention? This little device has your back. The best part? It doesn’t talk back. No screens, no apps, just reliable data. It’s like having a loyal dog that tells you exactly when to water your plants, minus the shedding. Now, I could nitpick and say it could use a more rugged build—because if you’re like me, tools should be able to survive a bear attack. But for its purpose, this meter is solid. In short, the 4-in-1 Plant Soil Moisture Meter has earned my five-star approval. It’s practical, straightforward, and effective—just like a good breakfast of bacon and eggs. If you care about your plants as much as I care about woodworking, then get yourself one of these. Trust me, your garden will thank you.

WORKS GREAT FOR THE OUTDOORS!
Using Vodeson with 1-meter with 6 probes (bought 2 additional) outdoors for a flower bed 90 feet across and 100 feet from the indoor router. The types plants include new tea olive trees alongside existing and new evergreen trees in the background, and various types of perennial flowers in the foreground on a sloped bed. Installed Drip Secbulk soaker hoses off a RainPoint Wi-Fi dual-zone controller, which feeds 5 single-zone water timers.I wrapped the soaker hoses once around each new plant, close to the base, and daisy-chained them for each zone. Note 1: This was optimal when the probes were installed at selected tree or flower locations. The probes are installed slightly below the low point of the soaker hose for optimal monitoring. The soaker hoses are covered by pine straw. Note: I tried the RainPoint water sensor and found it to be inaccurate and too expensive for multiple locations. The meter accurately provided a percentage of moisture and blinked when the reading was below 10%, readily identifying each probe location that needed water. The combination of the Vodeson and RainPoint was perfect. However, I wish the Vodeson were a Wi-Fi phone app capable. I have the meter at my desk, and a simple glance will tell me what zone needs watering. From my phone, I set the duration I want to water the plants using the RainPoint dual-zone and specific single-zone times, and then press start. A built-in scheduler is available if needed. I can see the results in real-time as the moisture level rises on the Vodeson meter.I cannot find any reason why this item would be less than 5 stars after 1 month of use, which included heavy rain pours and varying temperatures from 36 to 89°F. I also used a high-quality Giraffe Tools hose from the hose/zone manifold to reach out to the far-end areas where needed to connect to a soaker hose. ENJOY!

Unreliable compared to $12 dollar meters
Tried for outdoor metering. They seemed to work well at first. Got one for each of our new trees. Over time, the meters were very unreliable compared to simple $12 dollar hand held device. Too late to return. I do not recommend a buy for outdoor use.

I like them so far.
I have a drip irrigation system in my flowerbed. It is covered with 3 to 4 inches of bark. I have no indication of soil moisture levels or assurance that my drip system was running as programmed or if it is soaking the soil adequately.I tried one sensor first. I like that it communicates with the display that I keep inside the house without wifi or other wireless communication issues. It just works 24-7. Now I look at the soil moisture in both my front and backyard drip systems in my bark covered shrub/flowerbeds. I now know if and how well they are being watered from inside the house and no bark raking is required. My monitor can have 6 sensors. I have 3 and plan to get 3 more. They are very helpful to check my wife’s hanging baskets.I am very pleased so far with these sensors and display. Very useful and very easy to set up. Just put batteries in per instructions and it works. No passwords or codes or programming to do. Very happy!

Great Purchase
This remote thermometer and moisture meter set works well. It is easy to use. IT comes with 2 remote meters, a receiver and number stickers for the meters. I would recommend using the number stickers to keep track of meters in your garden. All in all, this was a great purchase.

Poor quality
One of the transmitters won't pair with the receiver. The other works well
