Victorinox Explorer "Swiss Army Knife"

An excellent product, I carry it wherever I travel. It is sturdily built, and the functions are very useful. The knife is very good for unpacking purposes.

It is the best product !! Quality is superb. Victorinox products are always with great quality.. Further, very useful for daily usage.

This multi tool knife comes in a blister pack (usually there is a cardboard box pack that we see). This is not the explorer plus (which has additional pen and a screwdriver1.6705). This is the explorer model 1.6703. The knife came properly packed. We get the following functions 1. large blade 2. Small blade 3. Cork screw 4. Can opener with 5. - small screwdriver 6. Cap lifter with 7. - screwdriver 8. - wire stripper 9. Reamer , punch 10. Key ring 11. Tweezers 12. Toothpick 13. Scissors 14. Multi-purpose hook 15. Philips screwdriver 16. Magnifying glass Note: the magnifying glass is 5x magnification and is all plastic (hence need to be carefully handled else it might break) The knife edges are decently sharp and the tool is oiled out of the pack (you needn't oil it separately) however this oil is starting to attract lint and dust. The plastic red scales tend to attract scratches though. Overall this knife would serve a long time before needing any maintenance if properly used.

Outer material is of plastic not staneless steel as given on the feature..but the tool quality is excellent and the blade was very sharp. Don't try to open all tool at a time it cuts my hand.

Ordered the product knowing that this is an Explorer version (as shown in the image & product description) not climber (as written in headline). Amazing product quality as expected from the brand. I think it can last for ages if in the right hands. The body is shiny red and you always want to keep it in hand. All tools are brand new and live upto Victorinox fame. The only issue I faced is that the tools are slightly tight to pull out and you have to be careful. However, on reading the leaflet in the product box, they say that it is expected and one needs to immerse the product in hot water and oil it if needed. Amazon doesn't stop to amaze you and the seller did a good job in living up to the expectations. Overall a very good purchase.

The famous Swiss knife. Costly for an Indian but it works great. The blade was way sharp, beyond my expectation and so I cut my finger on the first day. The other tools are helpful in various moments. The scissor works fine on thin materials like A4 paper or newspaper, sewing thread etc.I carry it everywhere. There is a small magnifying glass as well. I love the product.
