See...ignore the other reviews,these are amazing and they aren’t rough nor scratchy they are solid pure charcoal better quality than generals.if you know what polychromos coloured pencils are,they are similar in the sense that prismacolor premier coloured pencils are amazing but the build quality is bad,and polychromos are better made and have better quality leads but a bit hard to use compared to prismacolors similarly generals can be compared to prismacolors and derwents as polychromos.

Great product. Good for beginners.

The product depends upon the necessity. The pencils are not smooth at all. So if you want smooth charcoal, this one is not for you. However, if you are a fan of grainy charcoal and use them more often, then its a good product. The dark is very very dark and light is somewhat sheer. Overall, a decent product.

Packaging was great. 2 pencil leads were broken though. But looks ok

Ho notato recensioni negative per un prodotto che uso con soddisfazione. Incuriosito sono andato a vedere ed ho scoperto che il giudizio negativo non riguardava la qualità del prodotto in sè, nè aspetti comunque collegati, come potrebbe essere la mancanza di una confezione originale adeguata. Ma il giudizio negativo scaturiva o dalla lentezza della spedizione, o dal fatto che sembrava essere stato inviato un set già usato. In realtà è un ottimo set di matite carboncino. Una dura-hard o light, due medie o medium e due morbide-soft o dark. In più troviamo un pastello "Tinted" Charcoal White TC21, che può essere usato sia per saturare, sia come schiarente, sia come blender, a seconda che si usi o solo, o prima dei neri, o dopo. Con determinate tecniche risulta utilissimo. Infine il set ha anche un comodo e piccolo temperamatite, che fa bene il suo lavoro finchè si mantiene la lama affilata. La scatola di metallo è robusta, la classica Derwent per 6 matite più temperino. O si conserva nell'originale (nel senso che è fornita dal produttore) scatola di cartone, o le si tiene sempre avvolto un elastico intorno, per evitare aperture accidentali. L'impressione è che sia un set adatto a tutti, dilettanti e principianti (come sono io), ma anche professionisti ed artisti. Abbinato ad una "latta" di Derwent Tinted Matite Carbonio da 12 (ASIN B0013F2U3Q) o da 24 (ASIN B00133KNVY) ed un set Derwent di matite carboncino (ASIN B007K810ZY), avremo veramente tutto il necessaro per disegnare a carboncino (la gomma-pane da comprare a parte). Chi invece volesse risparmiare ulteriormente rispetto a questa confezione in scatola di metallo recensita, può acquistare la confezione in blister da 4 matite, una Light, una Medium, una Dark ed una White (ASIN B000KNPJ44), se e quando offerta ad un prezzo ragionevole.
