I highly recommend a Kitchen Aid mixer.
I love my old and new 7 quart Kitchen aid mixer for my home bakery business. I was having no issue with my old one (that I've had for about 10 years) but thought I should have a back up just in case, as I depend on my mixer daily. This size makes it perfect for my bigger-than-normal batches. With these two mixers, I should never have to get another one. Love my kitchen aid mixers. I highly recommend!!

Unfortunate
I love my kitchenaid mixer and had let my mom borrow it several years ago and she wanted to keep it. I purchased this one on the advise that refurbished is better. That may be so, but this one still had some sort of issue and made terrible grinding. I packaged it to send on the same day I received it, Saturday, and shipped it Monday. $53 in shipping I had to pay to return it. I purchased a new kitchenaid a few days later from a different seller and it is very quiet.

Amazing Value...
I received this stand mixer after my 5.5 quart Kitchenaid 500 HD (model KV25MCXCU) Costco special died. Compared to the 500 HD, the 7 quart Pro Line is soooooo quiet, even under load. And I wouldn’t stress out too much about this particular one being refurbed. Mine arrived in a generic box but was, for all intents and purposes, it’s a brand new machine. Looking forward to using this extensively over the Holidays!

Awesome
Love this. I make artisan bread. I have severe arthritis and had to have thumb joint replacement surgery. My doctor told me I wouldn't be able to knead bread anymore. I was so depressed. My husband found this. It. Is awesome. I must admit, it kneads bread better than I. I make cookies etc. Now as well. I am exatic.

Refurbished keyword
Love the mixer but it did not come with things that are standard with all mixers. Splash guard. The instructions says it is standard but this is a refurbished so I guess it not LIKE NEW.

No loud noise, perfect!
I bought the certified refurbished mixer and it is a beauty! I am a professional baker, so I have used my fair share of mixers. My only suggestion is to make sure you get one of those rubber edged paddles. They are worth the extra $50
