A great high-end, affordable train
I purchased this for my five year old grandson for Christmas 2025. He actually loves it and needs no supervision. Quality is excellent. The horn and steam work perfectly. Never jumps the track. Price is very affordable. He plays with it everyday. Batteries have lasted since Christmas. I continue to purchase more accessories. Highly recommended. I'd buy it again.

great xmas gift!
My 5 year old grandson was thrilled with this Train set, christmas gift. It functions just as described with steam and the locomotive sounds/light were decent. He needed to have supervision in getting the tracks put together and managing it carefully so as not to break it. But it works great and the entire family enjoyed watching it run

No regrets, but not quite what I was looking for.
Works well. Plastic parts seem like they might be a little flimsy so longevity may be short, but for now it is holding up and looks good. Smoak effect is good and is cold mist so it starts instantly and has a nice flowing effect. My only real complaint is that a volume control would be nice. it makes a LOT of noise and isn't good for just turning on and using as a decorative addition. It also has to go through a whole audio list before it will start moving, so it takes a good fifteen seconds of whistle and other train sounds no matter the speed setting.

Multiple features at a great price.
I like that it is ALL batteries operated . I can remove the batteries and store away with the rest of the Christmas ornaments and be ready to use again. No worries about electrical transformers failing and rusted train tracks (metal ones). This is simple to setup operate and a great conversation piece.

Fun and well made
Our 8 year old grandson enjoys this train. His younger siblings really like watching it travel and make steam. Seems like a well made train. I should clarify, I determined this by watching videos of our grandchildren enjoying the train. We live across the country from them so are pleased when they have a good time with the gifts we send. Would like to find accessories, people, buildings, etc. to add to the railway.

Quick Replacement from Amazon
I was so pleased with how quickly this item arrived. The tracks went together easily and I like that they have little latches to keep tracks secure. SO DISAPPOINTED when setting train on track, turn on, train blinks, short push for remote…..and the thing shuts off. My fault for ordering so close to Christmas, and now no train under my tree. Update: After reaching out to Amazon customer service, a replacement train set arrived within 3 days. It’s all set up under our tree and seems to be working perfectly. The train and its cars are sturdy enough. Hopefully it will last a few years!
