Wanted a cheap usb 2 in 1 wifi bt dongle for Home Assistant, pleased it just works.
After Tring a pcie wifi card before this which I sent back as it dint work, then looked for a USB wifi & Bt dongle this time which also was cheap enough to order with delivery using my refund balance, this item definitely fit, so I ordered even while wondering how effective it would be and would it work under Linux or Home Assistant in this case. It arrived same day, I plugged it in and powered up, to my relief it worked perfectly no drivers needed Home Assistant just picked it up and it works fine WiFi, Bluetooth, even Matter and Thread commissioning which was a bonus, I highly recommend this item especially for IOT users running Linux builds like home assistant, for the price you can't go wrong, I'll be ordering a 2nd soon too

Worth the money
Drivers are on the device, which self installs seamlessly. It's dual band wifi and Bluetooth. Both have good transfer speeds

Works Fine
It all works fine, but just you know, when you plug this into a Windows PC it adds a USB drive to the PC containing the drivers. Nice, because you have them to hand, but I'd rather it uses something from Windows instead. once the drivers are installed the drive is removed. The Bluetooth and WiFi features seem to work fine and it's pleasingly compact. Not the most amazing device on the planet but it's really cheap, and works effectively.

Much improved Bluetooth range!
Initially had a driver error with Windows 10 but it went away when I tried another USB port. I found that I had to re-pair my Bluetooth devices to have them working via the adaptor.I bought this to use a Bluetooth keyboard with my laptop as my laptop screen cable is damaged so I'm now using my TV as a monitor. With my laptop's Bluetooth I had to have the laptop right by my side to be in range, whereas now I can use the keyboard from the back of the room.My Wi-Fi range has also definitely improved!For this price you can't really ask for much more!

Ideal wifi dongle
Plugged it in and driver prompt allowed drivers to be installed. Worked without an issue. Was getting above 200mbits but that will depend on wifi speeds available.
