I have read the old print and this version of the Bagatelles. This new one is so much smoother to read and even my pianist commented on the room she had compared to the old print. Made marking the pages much easier.

I love the arrangements of Gerald Finzi's clarinet Op.23, "Five Bagatelles" . My favorite is the Carol. The song was easy to learn and I was able to follow the piano accompaniment. I performed the piece for my Church's Advent service. The reviews were great. I am now working on learning the others songs. A clarinetist of intermediate skill can master these songs. Enjoy!

These are beautiful pieces and the printing and CD are very easy to use. I played this as part of my lessons, but love the piece.

Great piece for an advanced high school clarinetist. Piano is challenging but not too hard. One can pick and choose which movements if there are contest time constraints.

Since this piece was a gift, my friend has not had the chance to practice/perform the Finzi piece. I realized when I got it, it will be an easy piece for him, but still a very beautiful one. Thanks.WB

This piece is very fun to play and not that hard to learn

To be honest, if you order this you know what you're getting: it isn't like taking a punt on one of a set of choices of electrical goods etc. and then saying one is in my opinion better than another. This music was a request purchase from a music teacher for a pupil therefore fitted the bill perfectly. That's why I rarely make comment on any music manuscript, after all if I buy a book of Mozart scores or manuscript, as long as it doesn't have misprints and is readable, I can't suddenly complain that Mozart got it wrong and I don't like what he wrote. Commenting on recordings is different because there are many recordings of same scores, therefore interpretation is important. But this was a book of bagatelles which my son needed, and the CD is a useful extra guide for him. The seller's service was exemplary. Steve Riches, Northampton, UK.

Well presented, clear printing, easy to read. Great having the CD with both solo included and accompaniment only. Soooo helpful :-) I would have slightly longer gaps between each piece to give turning over time - but that's just being picky!
