Its been said that the Redshift suspension seatpost is a game changer. It definitely is. I bought three: one for my gravel bike, and another two for my wife's and my hardtail. The system is especially effective in smoothing out gravel road chatter. It feels a bit bouncy over big roots, but helps considerably none the less. The seatpost makes long rides less grueling and tiresome. I also like that it can be more finely tuned than other systems by offering two springs, and three elastomeres that can be combined in more ways than most other systems.

It almost feels like riding a fat tire. Did not add any substantial weight compared to carbon alternatives.

Product is well- built with a nice design. The problem for me was the level of vibration I felt while in use. I tried different settings for the seat post suspension from firm to soft, but never found one that was tolerable for rides longer than 1/2 hour.
