IF YOU ARE GETTING THIS FOR A HARLEY.......PLEASE READ.
IF YOU ARE GETTING THIS FOR A HARLEY.......PLEASE READ. The OEM equipment is attached with Oetiker clamps, small diameter pinch type clamps, sometimes called stepless ear clamps. This check valve comes with conventional worm drive clamps. The minute you take the product out of the package, you can tell that the worm drive clamp will not fit properly in order to install. You NEED the Oetiker clamps. Another poster said they are less than 20 bucks with the tool. But plan ahead. Auto Zone, etc. do not offer Oetiker clamps, so make sure you are ready. Order them elsewhere if you order this check valve. It's an odd size......now I am waiting 3-4 days for the right clamp. I gave two stars because they did not offer the right hardware. If it were riding season, it would have been one star. Add 3 bucks to the price and offer the right hardware, people!
