I was not worried about all that I got with the lot, it was the best price for the pitcher and heater I found. But wow you really do get a lot to start making candles, it great for a beginner like me to learn how to do it without spending a ton of money. The kits comes with all the stuff you need to begin candle making, I did not use the tins so I can not rate those. I used my little Oiu yogurt glass containers. I bought the yogurt as BOGO and thought, these would make great candles, I live in Florida and with hurricanes we like to have candles handy all the time. So I made my first candles, they were so easy, really easy. I melted the wax, which was really quick to do, I was able to pour the wax right into the glass jars and I let them sit overnight. I was able to make a two tone as well by filling the jar half way in one color, letting it dry, then doing another color the next day. So neat. I was afraid to try the dried flowers as I have read reviews, maybe not on this one, but I read that they caught fire. Well I lit my candle and waited for the wax to get the the flowers, nothing happened, which is great, then I tilted the candle slowly to see if the flame would catch it on fire, but nothing. That made me feel good. Not that I am going to use them in all my candles, but it is good to know nothing will happen. I did buy some new coloring, I wanted more of a variety, I bought Mica Powder, wow just a little goes a long way. I am very please with the set, You get a lot to get started and then you will go from there once you learn how to make candles, it is a lot of fun and soooooo easy to do.

Ordered a couple extra things to go with, but all in all, great set up. 3 started already. My house smells amazing.

Everything we needed to make 16 candles!! This is a great kit. The wax is beeswax. There is enough wax and jars to make 16 cute candles. Even comes with cute boxes you can put a candle in if you’re giving it as a gift. The instructions are very easy to follow. I’m really happy with this kit. It will also make a great gift!!

The wax melting pot is half the size of other kits, so takes longer to melt more wax when doing candle making with more than 2 people. All the candles we made with the wax that came in this kit catered and fell. Very disappointing. The candles I've made with soy wax from another kit didnt do that. The scents and colors are nice that are included in the kit. Overall, a nice kit, just needs better wax which is the whole of the candle.

This was a perfect kit for a girls day gathering. It came with everything you need (I would recommend two pots if you have a group so you can melt batches of wax quicker). The burner worked great and I didn’t have any issues with it overheating or not functioning properly. The wax beads are so great and melt super quick so there’s minimal delay between candles. The smells were alright but kind of reminded me of the smell of cat litter….. I loved the variety of wax colors, little additions like flowers and the containers complete with stickers. A couple of the girls made candles and boxed them up as gifts for family members! Definitely recommend this kit!

As a beginner, I would buy this kit again simply because it was a great price to get the very basic things I needed to learn. However, the oils included are not really high quality at all (honestly not to be expected at this price). I wouldn't have even knocked a star off for that because I wasn't expecting much at the price point, but every single one of them had leaked out. I didn't get a full bottle of any of them. However, I love that so many tin jars with lids were included, as well as all the other pieces. As someone who has no intention of selling, it was a great kit to start learning and to have some candles I have made myself around the house. I will buy better quality fragrance oils to make more.

I got this for a church youth activity and it was a hit. Everything you need is in the kit and it’s easy enough for beginners to jump right in. The scents are nice, the wax melts smoothly, and the instructions are clear. It kept everyone busy, creative, and laughing, and they got to take home something they actually made. Definitely one of those activities that feels fun and a little different from the usual. I’ll be buying another kit for future nights.

In particular, having a portable stove top and a pouring pot dedicated to creating candles makes everything a lot easier, eliminating cleanup that can be quite time consuming. The kit provides enough supplies to produce at least eighteen candles; after completing a dozen or so, you will likely have mastered the basics allowing you to experiment (if you wish) with other containers or scented oils. Overall, the quality of the materials included in the kit is very good. There is no question that beeswax is an excellent product to work with and usually yields top notch results. I appreciate that the essential oils are included in the kit along with some dried flowers (you can, of course, experiment with your own). The idea of including tins to make candles in and gift boxes to wrap them in is excellent. It is nice to see that the manufacturer has included items such as a thermometer, a hot pad and a stirring spoon that people often don’t anticipate needing when they are getting set up to make candles. Whether you pursue candle making alone or as a family activity, with everything you need to get started, this kit provides a great gateway into the hobby. The real beauty of this product is the fact that, after crafting the eighteen candles in this kit, you will have the knowledge and a lot of the equipment needed to carry on in the hobby.
