It's strong but not the strongest, reliable to keep things on all year round but still easy enough to peel off if you try with tools. Not good for the bathroom on walls which can get damp but otherwise a great choice (tried it for holding shower accessories beside the bathtub but falls off after some months...of course gets wet)...but never had to replace the tape for any other room. It is however quite thick
