Outstanding lock, especially for the price
This was the cheapest Yale lock I’ve bought and I’m unbelievably impressed. I usually expect good quality from Yale, but being a grade 3 lock, I wasn’t sure where they’d cut corners. One area is the buttons. They’re more like rubber-dome buttons, which is perfectly fine. They work great and feel premium, but they’re a step down if you’re used to the Assure buttons. The other area is the motor housing on the inside. The Assure line is all metal, while the inside portion of this one is all plastic. The outside portion is still full metal construction with a plastic face. Honestly, I don’t really notice any downgrade in the motor itself. It runs smoothly, seats firmly even with a slightly swollen door frame, and it’s fast. Time will tell how well the motor holds up, but the shank and all visible motor parts are metal, not plastic like cheaper brands, so that impressed me at this price point. The plastic interior box is something you stop noticing the minute the lock is installed. It looks great, runs great, and the install was a breeze. The captive screws on the motor body are a really nice touch. I wish they’d add those to the Assure line too. The backlit keys are bright, the speaker is clear and loud, and there’s a switch to turn the beep off if you prefer (I like it on). My only odd complaint is that the Yale button isn’t backlit, which is annoying when your door is in the dark like mine. You have to press the Yale button to lock and unlock, so you end up feeling for it even with the backlight on. Minor gripe though. I’m extremely impressed with this lock, especially at this price point!

Simple, easy, reliable.
I needed a keyless option for entry and for a storage closet, but did not need Internet connectivity, so I went with this model. Setup and configuring codes were both quick and easy. I had previously used a Level lock, and although the functionality of the lock was great, installation was a complete nightmare. None of the parts on the Level fit exactly the same, so the door wouldn’t close, and I had to either skip using the lock plates or buy the tools to shave and cut wood. Not the case with this Yale lock. Everything fit perfectly, no issues, no mods. (I was replacing a Kwikset deadbolt.) I highly recommend this, and I will be going with Yale for my next project, which will require connectivity.

Would recommend.
It takes a bit of time to set it up but overall simple to set up and looks very nice. Been using this for nearly a year and only has to replace the batteries once so far. I think the deadbolt is longer than what our doorframe was drilled so when you lock it, it still locks but since it can’t fully extend it beeps an extra couple times to let you know that. Great value, reliable, and never had any security breaches.

Good Lock, Really Loud
Good keypad. I’m not sure if I would get it again. The locking sound is pretty loud, almost embarrassingly loud. I’m not sure if it’s in the instructions, but I’m not too sure how to delete a code if needed, so I guess I will update when the time comes if the process is easy or not! Other than that, the buttons feel good, the setup was easy, and the design is nice!

Goes in easy if you're logically brained!
Went in perfect as I had a newer door and already had a deadbolt that perfectly fit it. The only thing that was confusing was the right/left orientation. I figured it was the OUTSIDE so I thought it was right handed, but it's the INSIDE and had to go left handed, then it it all worked. Great lock overall, satisfied.

Great Keypad Lockset
Excellent basic lock set. Easy to install and easy to program. One odd thing to note is the Yale button does not light up. The numbers do illuminate

Quick and not too noisy. Good quality so far. Not unnecessary features that will break early. Satisfying and it looks good for the future. The only downside compared to my previous 2 lock would be that you need to press the home botton prefore and after entering the code. The before hand press is frustrating when you enter your code before testing the door and it was not locked because you end up locking the door. Funny when you think about it but frustrating when it happens.

We had 2 Schlage units that failed. Decided to try this one with less bells and whistles. The unit is nice, small and simple to use. A bit more work to unlock but it’s quiet operation. Very smooth and the price was just right. I have it a 4 star and not 5 because you have to press the Yale button 2 X to unlock and most times the first push doesn’t work.
