Your Guide to N Scale Railroading

If you want to get startled in the N-Scale train hobby this is the book.

I have been an HO scale model railroader for many years considering switching to N scale. i found this book to be a great reference book for starting out in N scale or switching to N Scale model railroading. There are 8 nicely laid out chapters with great pictures and diagrams throughout. A nice assortment of information about products and details for building a complete N scale layout. how to build benchwork, purchasing and installing track, wiring with DC or DCC train control, building scenery and structures, Locomotives and rolling stock as well as detailing. There are nice samples of track plans from basic ovals or small tabletop to room size layouts. This is a nice well thought out book for N scale model railroading.

After reading a couple of other magazines I bought ‘Your Guide to N Scale Railroading.’ It is helpful instruction on every aspect of the hobby. The author writes well making the reading both enjoyable and instructive. As a newbie to Model Railroading I very much appreciate the guidance David Popp has provided.
